Today at Asher Point of Sherman, we celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a festive nacho bar and delicious churros for dessert 🌮🎉✨

Residents had a wonderful time wearing sombreros and shaking their maracas while enjoying the celebration 💃🎶 Our amazing chef and culinary team served up nachos with beef and chicken, along with guacamole, salsa, sour cream, and pico de gallo—so many delicious options! 😋

Laughter, great food, and festive spirit filled the room, making it a fantastic day for everyone 💛

Today, on May Day, we gathered for a truly special moment at Asher Point with the unveiling of our brand new Wall of Honor 🇺🇸💛

Our residents, alongside their Lifestyle Director, worked diligently to prepare it in time for Memorial Day—and their dedication truly showed ✨

The ceremony began with a powerful moment of recognition as all of our veterans were invited to stand, allowing us to honor and acknowledge each of them with the respect they deserve. Resident Monty then played TAPS on his horn, creating a deeply moving and heartfelt experience for everyone in attendance 🎺

It was a touching time of remembrance, gratitude, and pride as we honored our veterans and thanked them for their service and sacrifice ❤️

What better way to spend an afternoon in Serenity Suites at Asher Point in Sherman than creating beautiful fresh flower arrangements? Devoted Journey Home Health graciously provided gorgeous blooms and vases, giving residents the chance to design their own unique creations 🌼✨

Each arrangement reflected its creator’s personal style, filling the room with a stunning mix of colors and creativity 😊

Alongside the Flower Bar, residents enjoyed cookies, refreshments, and plenty of socializing. Laughter, stories, and shared moments made it a truly special and memorable afternoon 💐

The Asher Point bus had an unforgettable trip to the Arbuckle Mountains Wilderness! 😊💛

We drove through the park and got up close with so many amazing animals—giraffes, buffalo, ostriches, longhorns, a white tiger, donkeys, and more! Feeding them and seeing them up close made the experience extra special. 🐃🦓✨

Afterward, we stopped at the Arbuckle Mountains Fried Pie Shop for lunch and picked up some delicious fried pies to take home—such a sweet treat to end the day! 🥧

It was a fantastic outing filled with smiles, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. 💛
