Mental health is not just about getting through hard days, it’s about creating more good days. Days filled with connection, support, purpose, joy, and hope. This May, we recognize that mental wellness is something we build together through kindness, conversation, community, and care.

“More Good Days, Together"--this year's theme from Mental Health America--reminds us that every action matters. A supportive friend, a meaningful conversation, a moment of rest, a helping hand--these are the things that create stronger minds and healthier communities.

This month, we invite families, youth, and our neighbors to join us in raising awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting everyday mental wellness. Because more good days begin when we show up for both ourselves and for each other. 💚

As we wrap up National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week, one powerful truth stands out: most teens are not using drugs or alcohol.

While statistics often highlight the risks, it’s important to recognize that the majority of young people are making healthy, positive choices every day—and that’s something worth celebrating.

At the same time, education, open conversations, and strong support systems remain essential for those who may be struggling or at risk.

For 45 years, NSYC has been at the forefront of prevention, and we’re not stopping. Because when young people are informed, supported, and empowered, they thrive. 💜
