PEER OUTREACH SUPPORT TEAM (POST) The (POST) program offers non-clinical case-management, transportation, and educational/engagement o

utreach to Hudson County residents living with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders. Certified Recovery Support Practitioners provide emotional and experience-based support, using evidence-based practices, to individuals who are seeking to attain or maintain wellness. Services are provided Monday thru Friday from 9am to 8pm. PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS The Pathways program is to holistically address barriers individuals impacted (individually or loved one) by opioids are facing so they may find gainful and long-term employment. Pathways will train and educate Hudson County residents to succeed in the workplace. Participants will receive non-clinical vocational case management to assist in their individual employment, various options for training certifications, job coaching and mentoring, on-going recovery support, and participant assistance. Services are provided Monday thru Friday from 9am to 5pm. Nightly and weekend appointments are scheduled on an as needed basis. VIRTUAL PEER LEAD SUPPORT GROUPS: Don’t let COVID-19 get you down! Many who are used to leaving home every day for work, social gatherings, religious services, and school may be feeling anxious, isolated, or bored. Living with mental health or substance use only enhance these emotions. The Mental Health Association in New Jersey (MHANJ) can help! Individuals can log in or call for insightful and comprehensive remote self-help groups providing healthy coping strategies and skills, education, and unconditional peer support for mental health and substance use and co-occurring disorders for individuals and/or their family members. All groups are facilitated by Certified Peer Specialists, Non-Clinical, and FREE. There is a host of interactive and educational opportunities available to help keep your mind and connections to others going and growing. Times, Dates, and types of group vary.
