This is my life at 28 - pinch me!
I cried when I passed my boards because I dedicated so much time and effort into what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
You hear the cliche all the time for the question ‘why did you go into the health care profession’- “I want to help people.”
That’s exactly why I got into it- I wanted to help people get out of pain, stay out of pain, and improve their quality of life. Everyone deserves to be heard, feel seen, and know that they are not alone when they go through a rough patch.
When I took those board exams, I had no idea where my life would lead me- yet here we are!
I worked in offices that accepted insurance and saw the broken system. I worked with chronic pain clients for 6 visits, 38 minute sessions- starting to make a difference in their pain cycle when insurance would cut us off. I would feel defeated- failing my clients.
Now, I’m a business owner, putting client needs and goals first. Giving them the time and energy they need to heal for long term relief, not short term bandaids. Because I won’t allow insurance to determine what I can and cannot do for my clients to help them achieve their goals.
A pelvic floor PT, owning her own business, working along side her husband to give clients the best holistic care they can offer - my dream come true 🫶
So always know, when you come into my office, you can give me the long version- every single time 🤍
