Hey there , I got a little something to share :)
OK, I've been doing Veteran Owned Business interviews since July of 2022. Actually, I was producing them, Robert Ishoy from Ruby's Divine Chocolates conducted the interviews. Amazing man by the way, check out these days what he's doing with Coolfmlive with his show "COMMON GROUND".
In time, I moved into the driver's seat and worked with Tc Fiveash from Making Friends and we continued the spirit of Cochise Country Veteran Owned Business finding new VOBs to interview. Check out his work with puppets, he has a gift!
Through it all, it's been an amazing journey and we're bringing in new businesses to interview and I love it! Getting their name out there, that's good business! Around October 1st, during the government time out (ahem), while playing with the Warrior Healing Center library on their YouTube channel, that's when I thought to myself "Why not expand the net?" So, I dusted off my YouTube channel and brought it back to life with not only repeats of WHC's interviews, but also creating a separate interview platform: Gen X Grit: Veteran Owned Business Built Different!
Since October 1st where I had one subscriber, I've made it to 94 and counting! And the interviews OUTSIDE of Cochise County have been amazing! In fact, I'm proud to announce that I finally got an interview that has hit triple digits!
When I heard that Lynn Flamino was in the running for the front cover of Muscle & Fitness Hers, I had to reach out. I mean she's from the 219, Morton and Polish roots? And her husband Tony Flamino is an Army Vet? Her story is inspiring!
Thank you, Lynn, for the opportunity and congrats on being the first ever 100+ viewed interview! I wish you continued success in your running and can't wait for my wife and I to see you on the cover when we go on our next shopping trip!
