Cool down hot tempers!

CHILL OUT!! 🥶 At the Silver City Cooling Center! 215 W. College Ave.

❤️ Super special ❤️ THANK YOU ❤️ to all the overwhelming support of our beautiful community!! 🫶 We now have gigabit high speed 🏎 internet, phone 📲 charging stations, big screen television 📺, an ice 🧊 maker, coffee ☕️ maker, snacks 🧁🍪🍩, water 💦, and SEVEN recliners 😜 for plenty of comfy seating🪑.

Of course, as always, we love ❤️ having volunteers and we couldn’t do anything without generous donations 💕. Shelf-stable food snacks are always in high demand!

Don’t forget to ask about using this space for private meetings 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and any other community needs you have in mind.😉

Putting people to work!!

WORK NOW! Meet Allen, a skilled journeyman painter from California! He came out here to help his brother in Christ set up a business but things didn’t pan out as planned. Soon after, he lost his place to live.

His attention to detail is absolutely immaculate and he’s open to any work that’ll put a few extra bucks in his pocket. He comes to work in tune and on time with all the tools needed to get the job done.

If you’d like to hire him for your painting needs then let us know and we’ll make it happen!

COMING SOON!!

WE'RE ALMOST THERE!! Here we go friends of Silver! Our brand new community peer advocacy drop-in center is ramping up for public service coming soon but we're not in the clear quite yet.

Now that we're officially a New Mexico nonprofit we're gonna need all the help we can get. So, come on in and enjoy our cold climate, comfy living room, cool internet bar, and for those in crisis we'll have trained staff able to de-escalate anything you can throw at us!

This is "for the people, by the people" so come on down and get involved. Volunteers are encouraged and welcome!

Another wonderful success story!

WORK NOW! Meet the magnificent Randy! Born and raised in Silver City, this guy has been working tirelessly as our programs manager for the last six months and completely without pay!

As you can see, he’s never afraid to get his hands dirty when hands need to get dirty! We’re so blessed, honored, and privileged to have him on our team.

Well guess what?!? The tables have turned and because of a private donor we can now put him on payroll!
