Wellness Center has long been a dream of Founder, Tali Elitzur. She saw that there were too many cracks in the systems that were supposed to protect and support survivors of trauma, and envisioned a welcoming whole-health healing space with integrative services addressing the many ways that trauma can impact our lives. The name “Aha!” was derived from identifying aha moments, or instants where we became aware of how our thought, feeling, or behavior patterns were linked to our past trauma. The goal was to use this newfound knowledge as a source of empowerment in Achieving Hope and Awareness. Over time, a group of experts from various disciplines created a collaborative community valuing the resources that each professional brought to the team. Each was passionate about filling gaps in services and meeting clients with compassion and acceptance. One of the priorities of the group was to be aware of accessibility barriers, and to find ways of connecting clients with appropriate care, including networking with other professionals in the area. Wellness Center moved into our new space in early 2020. We completely remodeled it to create a space that was specifically designed to address the neuro patterns of minds and bodies impacted by trauma. Careful attention was paid to the experiences of clients walking into the space, and the design aimed to protect guest from common sensory triggers. The same attention was given to the creation of Aha!’s website. team worked with a trauma-conscious design team that understood the importance of offering a visually calming and accessible website. Today, we are excited to share with you a range of whole health integrative services that can be customized to help you reach your personal goals regardless of where you are in your journey.
