Kinda random but I checked out my google page and saw I had 117 five star reviews. Random b/c that also happens to be my birthday!!!

When cases don’t start on time, sometimes I wander the halls. It was great running into so many familiar faces from med school and residency.

It’s crazy to think that not so long ago we were a bunch of students and the new Docs on the block and in just the blink of an eye we’ve become the senior Docs on staff, managing partners of practices, and the leadership of our departments.

In 2017, I made my first IG post after attending the Americans Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Global Conference in Washington, DC. This past week I was able to attend the same conference but this time in Vancouver, BC.

It’s amazing to see all that has changed in the field of gynecologic surgery and what’s in store for the future. What was once considered sci fi is now a reality.

What really made the conference worthwhile was catching up with colleagues and hearing about their accomplishments and connecting with individuals who are pushing the boundaries of progress. It was also inspiring to see what former students and residents have been able to achieve.

A common theme was the importance of embracing technology and that progress occurs when individuals think outside of the box and challenge the status quo.

We don’t know what we’re truly capable of accomplishing unless we push our limits. Let’s see what we can do!!!

There is shortage of minimally invasive surgical services throughout the world and we would like to do our part to help address that problem.

We are now accepting applications for our private practice fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery.

This program is designed for OBGyns who are interested in learning minimally invasive gyn surgical techniques that will enable them to serve the health care needs of their communities. We also provide a unique opportunity to help address global healthcare disparities.

Appreciate being able to come back to the motherland with new team members who were all committed to making a difference.

Not only were we able to help care for the local patients, but we were able to provide knowledge and help develop the clinical skills of the local providers.

The term walang hanggan loosely translates to without end. I was originally introduced to that phrase when it was being applied to understanding a sense of personal identity. It seems just as appropriate to describe our time in the Philippines. The pursuit of knowledge and providing care is an ongoing process and I’m glad that we are able to be a part of it.
