Gua Sha is an ancient form of Chinese medicine.

Stimulates Circulation: The gentle scraping and rubbing motion is thought to increase blood flow to the area, delivering essential nutrients to the skin.
Promotes Lymphatic Drainage: It helps to encourage the flow of lymph fluid, which can reduce swelling and puffiness.
Releases Muscle Tension: The technique relaxes muscles and can help to free up connective tissue (fascia), relieving tension and soreness.
Body-Wide Application: While facial gua sha is popular for cosmetic benefits, the practice can be performed on the entire body for pain relief and muscle. Pain relief and cold relief as well. Help support the body during flu and cold season.

Hey everyone!!! I'll be teaching a Thursday evening class at Body Theory Yoga.
Yin Yoga
This practice is designed to help you sit longer, and more comfortably, in meditation by stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). A passive practice, Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia.
