Take a listen to my beautiful Hailey Wilson and her incredible insight at 25 years old. I wish I knew what she knows now when I was I was her age.

Keep listening until the very end as she eases her way into the second half of the podcast with some incredible realizations and suggestions on how to live your life comfortably authentic.

My favorite part is when she talks about how “people are going to judge regardless of what you do and who you are, so why not just be you? Unapoligetically!”

Love it. I’m so proud of the woman she has become. I’m her mom but I’ve learned more from her on this journey than I could’ve ever taught her in my lifetime.

“You'll get mixed up, of course, as you already know. You'll get mixed up with many strange birds as you go. So be sure when you step. Step with care and great tact and remember that Life's a Great Balancing Act. Just never forget to be dexterous and deft. And never mix up your right foot with your left.” -Dr. Seuss

Life is truly a balancing act. I ground myself in gratitude for the people in my life who support me in living out my passions and making my dreams come true.

Are you ready to get inspired?!?! We are a week away from our 7 Day Glow Method Kick off.

Every month from the 1st - 7th we will host The Glow Method via Zoom and/or in-person.

This allows us to go back to basics and nurture our body, mind and soul. Our bodies need to be nourished and you are worthy to take time from our busy days to drop into self care.

This week is full of support, love and guidance.

It’s totally free!
It's time to GLOW Sister!

Every month we will recommend a Glow Bundle that will support you in your 1 week of nourishment and resetting yourself. The Glow Bundle is optional.

You can order your August Glow Bundle here:

“The tiny seed knew that in order to grow it needed to be dropped in dirt, covered in darkness, and struggle to reach the light.”
- Sandra Kring

There's just something about seeing things grow, about seeing them sprout up from seemingly nowhere at all. I just threw a seed in one of the cinder blocks at The Haven Garden and it sprouted and began to grow taller and thicker each day.

It got my attention, and I became more interested as the days passed.

I took this weekend off because I’ve been working 7 days a week but something kept telling me to swing by the studio. Now I know why! The nurturing and love I gave this sunflower contributed to the end result.

I encourage you to plant seeds every single day, in the world and in others, with every thought you think and word you speak and action you take. You have influence.

Just like a garden needs its rain and sunlight and weeding, your relationships need to be tended... by YOU. The things you want to change and improve need commitment... from YOU.

Tomorrow, I begin my 2nd week of no sugar and no alcohol and I can’t even begin to tell you the benefits I’ve already received.

Just as I nurture this 🌻, I simultaneously take care of myself in a way that prepares me for some pretty incredible changes happening in my life.

If you are interested in joining the 5 am club, DM me and I’ll give you more details.

P.S. Come by garden to check out the sunflower!

We as a society tend to put a lot of time and energy in making commitments to ourselves and others.

Responsibilities are good however over committing can be counter productive.

What would it look like for you today to set your intentions not just to be able to check them off your list, but for the purpose of showing up exactly as you are today and in this moment?

Notice the difference and share your experience.

Ironically, this picture popped up today on my iPhone memories. This was taken 10 years ago.

The time and circumstances were different, however the feelings were eerily similar to how I’ve been feeling lately.

Uncomfortable in my skin yet determined.

Unsure, yet intentional with my actions.

This morning I prayed and I vowed to myself and a power greater than I that I was going to be very specific and intentional with my actions.

I’m relieved and proud to say that I kept my word to myself and to those who are participating in accountability group.

Whether you know it or not, you all inspired me to keep my word.

I completed 5 miles of walking.

I showed up and survived Power Yoga class.

And rewarded myself with an incredible Yin class.

I ate exactly what I said I would and never even had a thought to deviate from my plan.

My intentions kept me anchored. The vow I made kept me focused.

Today I did my best in everything I set out to do today. That’s all I can promise.

I encourage you all to do the same.

My 5 miles may be your 15 minutes. It’s not about the distance or time. It’s about the intention.

Show up and do your best! 🏆

P.S. This post admittedly written from an Epsom Salt bath. 🛀

Today, I commit to walking 5 miles, one power flow and one yin class.
I will drink 8 glasses of water and consume protein shakes, vegetables and fruit only today.

Just for today, I am specific and deliberate with my goals. Today is different than yesterday. Tomorrow will be different than today. I embrace doing the best I can with what I’ve set out to do for today.

What is one goal you are setting for yourself today?

Remember, your goal is not my goal. Mine is not yours.

You do you boo! 😊

I have been working so hard on my personal growth between my ears and in my heart over the past 12 months that I lost track of my physical health.

I haven’t stepped on the scale in a year until today and I am 15 lbs heavier than I was last year!

Today, I declare finding the balance between my physical and mental well-being.

I allowed today to be my last hoorah as far as food is concerned. Today, walked 10.5 miles and had the most beautiful day ever with friends .r.cooper and meeting me along different stretches of my walk.

Then I came home and my son asked if I’d walk with him. How could I say no?

So today I clocked 12 miles. I’m committing to walking 6-10 miles each day and eating clean beginning tomorrow.

If anyone would like to join me in forming a fitness accountability group, please follow and I’ll begin posting anything related to this tomorrow.

I have goals and I know I can achieve them but I don’t want to do it alone. I need support and I’m finally comfortable asking for it, and happy to offer others my help.

Although I feel good about who I am as a person, I’m super uncomfortable in my body with this extra weight I am carrying.

Join me in this journey by following and let’s make a commitment to ourselves to always grow and live our best lives ever!
