Self-care is more than just pampering yourself with bubble baths and naps. It also means setting boundaries for others and their expectations of you. Saying no is sometimes necessary for self-care, especially when you're already feeling overwhelmed or drained. Even nice people can say no ♥️

As we get into these cold months when illness tends to fester, I often have to remind myself to slow down and devote time to wellness. Finding time to sit with myself, maybe taking the time for a mini facial, a manicure, or just time to read. What ever brings you comfort. Maybe it's cooking a big pot of soup. Blessings

This morning I woke up sick with a dry cough and a fever, a gift from Gray. Then, surprise! I started a week early. Then I'm struck with unbelievable gratitude for the multiple experiences causing my suffering because with great suffering comes joy. Knowing joy is coming makes suffering feel a little sweeter.

Hi Everyone!! I'm sure you all think I've fallen off the earth but i haven't, I've gone back to school and started a part time job. I went from twiddling my thumbs to having to spread myself a little thin. I'm attenting Ashford University to get my BA in Health and Wellness. blessings to all.
