Next came the goats. Then the bees. That one hive, over ten years ago, has turned into a thriving honey-producing/packing business. Hilltop Apiaries maintains hives on 8 family-owned farms throughout the Farmington Valle

y. We extract our own pure wildflower honey and partner with other beekeepers who follow the same responsible beekeeping practices. Together, we serve customers throughout the US and, with our partner, Farmer’s Bee, provide pollination services to several orchards in our area.

The only choice for first time beekeepers looking to have more success. These nucs are 4 weeks ahead of any package. This difference can be the deciding factor for survival for new beekeepers. Our nucs give you an advantage that you need when trying to grow your hive. Having an established queen also reduces problems of acceptance that come with packages.

What you get with our nucs:
• 3 frames of brood with bees
• 2 frames of food with bees
• Bees are raised in nucs not assembled just prior to sale
• Established Laying VSH queen
• Not made from bees returning from California Almond Pollination
• Wooden box

We also have a limited supply of used waxed dipped woodenware for $50 each and includes 10 plastic frames. Cash only at pickup of nucs.
