This year has been so hard for so many people. Today marks one year that the world shut down and so many people were and still are dealing with this pandemic. I wanted to share my gratitude to our Frontline Heros. Thank you health care, teachers, first responders, and everyone who have been out there for all of us. Thank you friends, family and clients who have supported my small business and continue to support Bird and Bee Wellness. I honor all of you today and every day.

My mom owned a restaurant when I was little. She creatively combined my sisters name and mine to call her little luncheonette, Collissa's Country Kitchen.
There are two things that I love more than wellness, more than anything on this earth.....my children. Brandon, my B Man (Bee) and Jaidyn, my little Jai-bird. It took me 13 years to decide on the name for my business. I wanted something that represents the magnitude of love for what I do. I wanted to honor my beautiful Mother and sister. Melissa means Honey Bee! So there you have it....Bird and Bee.
I am a graduate of the massage therapy program at the former Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and have been practicing since 2005. Most of the body work that I do is pain management, deep tissue, and intuitive energy healing. I work with post surgical clients, professional and recreational athletes, as well as prenatal and hospice clients. My approach to body work is both structural, energetic, and custom to individual client needs.
I am certified through the National Academy Of Sports Medicine, being a trainer since 2010. My approach to fitness is that of the same as body work, programs and sessions should not be cookie cutter.
My passion is to bring a holistic approach to improving the mind and body through manual therapy and movement. Wether it is in through the freedom of dance and energy work or structure of exercise and massage, there is beauty in the union of all it.
Bird and Bee Wellness is everything I love and want to share.
