My sister Dalaine Joy Vander Kooi had 6 children she gave up for adoption through an agency/ lawyer in Arizona. The adoptions were open in the sense that the parents were able to send letters/ pictures, but when she died 13 yrs ago, the information stopped. I now have medical information these children should have with no way to locate them. Agencies open during 1994-99 are now closed. Courts in Maricopa County Arizona say they have no record of the births. (1) Krysta was born October of 1994 and adopted by parents named Donna & Reid. Her brother (4) Cameron was born a few years later and adopted by the same family, Donna & Reid. (2) & (3) Twins, Jordan and Kaleigh were born between Krysta and Cameron, and were adopted by a family living in the same town, a few blocks away from Krysta and Cameron. The parents, Cindy & Birnie, agreed to keep the twins in touch with Krysta and Cameron because they were siblings. Krysta, Cameron, Jordan and Kaleigh were adopted and moved to the East Coast. (5) & (6) Twins, Grant and Gordyn were born April 5, 1999. They were adopted by parents Julie & Dean. An ultrasound picture says St Josephs Hospital on it. Other than the first names of the parents, I have nothing more on Grant and Gordyn. Krysta, the oldest, will just be 20 yrs old in October 2014. The twins Grant and Gordyn will have turned 15 in April of 2014. ....I don't have the exact DOB on Cameron or the other set of twins, but their ages will be between the 15-20 range. It is possible the second set of twins was adopted by a family from Florida. There is a letter from Kaleigh and Jordan's mom referencing that the last set of twins was going to live in Florida. A cousin thought Dalaine had said they were adopted and lived in New Hampshire.... not sure which to go with. There is important genetic medical information they need. My sister, their mom, Dalaine Joy Vander Kooi died in 2001. I believe the agency the children were adopted through was notified at the time. I cannot stress how important this is. There is medical information they MUST HAVE. (If you email me, please put Dalaine's name in the SUBJECT line. Thank you.)
