Essential oils sometimes show greater activity than drugs...!!

I love when essential oils show greater activity than drugs in research because they tend to have better safety profiles as well. A recent laboratory study found that fennel essential oil demonstrated higher antibacterial activity than ampicillin against three of four bacteria tested (S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, B. subtilis). Additionally, its antioxidant capacity exceeded synthetic BHT and vitamin C.
