Welcome, Summer 2026! We survived another winter here in South Dakota 🙌

If you're considering becoming a postpartum doula, I'm inviting you to train alongside me in June at our Sioux Falls, SD office. If you're interested, I can send you the registration link for the Postpartum Doula Training I'm attending in June.

Oooooh this is one of our favorites!

Week 3 of is all about how we show up for our community.

made a BIG leap last October by opening up our beautiful office and community space. (No seriously, have you seen it? It's so cozy!).

Since then we've been able to reach our community in ways that weren't possible before!

-Clients who are from out of town now have a place to meet their doulas for -prenatal visits (or labor until they're ready to head to the hospital!)
-Our Breastfeeding Circle (co hosted with Flourish Wellness & Birth Co.) gathers women weekly on Monday mornings
-Our community room is available for birthday parties, baby showers, baptism celebrations, and more! (Big perk for doula clients is 50% off rental fees!)
- ICAN of Sioux Falls meets in our space monthly to provide group support for those who've had or are having cesareans
-We've taught SO MANY CLASSES and provider pop ups, that we can't even begin to list
-We have a retail space that features local makers and non-profits
-Birth and Body Workers Get Togethers through South Dakota Doulas happen in our four walls
.. and the list could go on and on!

This has been one of the most exciting parts of taking the leap and opening a physical space... the community that has fallen into place!

How do you know you want a doula unless we share with you all the magical things we can do!

Between our birth doulas, postpartum doulas, transitional care doulas, and end of life doulas, we've got all your bases covered.

Other things not mentioned:
-arranged our transitional care client's schedule so their adult child wouldn't have to
-stayed overnight at our client's house so mom and dad could get much needed sleep
-helped a client figure out how to most efficiently use their pump
-met a client at our office to weigh baby and assess latch
-baked cookies for big brothers to have after school
-folded laundry... so much laundry...
-met up for ongoing education
-and on and on and on!

Week 2 of

As postpartum doulas, we get a very special peek into the most vulnerable times for a family.

We show up with a hug (and maybe even coffee!), ready to listen, answer questions, lend a hand, and nurture your whole household.

Our first question is, "What do you need today?"
-Nap/shower? We'll hang with baby and older sibs.
-Food? Let me make you lunch, prep some healthy snacks, and even get supper going so it's ready when you are.
-To talk? I'll take this clean laundry and fold while you tell me how you're really feeling.

We make sure the whole family is supported through the big transition of bringing a new baby into the fold!
