We are hiring a full time COTA to join our team in late December 2025 💗 Our amazing Ms Alyssa will be having her baby boy and we are looking for someone to take on her caseload of extraordinary kiddos, and who will stay with us permanently when she returns as well!

We are obviously a little biased - but EKT is such a special place to work and community to be a part of. If you are a neurodiversity-affirming COTA who is looking for an outpatient pediatrics job where you are respected, empowered, and consistently inspired - please reach out to us. We will be conducting interviews throughout November and will begin training in December.

It’s AAC Awareness Month 💗 What a privilege it is to help our little besties find their voices in every form. Our speech therapists go above and beyond, collaborating with families, teachers, and our interdisciplinary team to ensure every child is heard and understood.

We’re so thankful for our continued collaboration with AbleNet Inc. which helps us secure AAC devices for our clients, and for our incredible parents who are always open to exploring new ways to support their child’s communication journey. 📱🫶

We are so passionate about AAC that last year, we donated a communication board to Smithfield Recreation Department Deerfield Park in Town of Smithfield, RI. Since then, we’ve loved receiving photos and videos from families showing their children using it while playing and connecting with peers. 💬 Love to love all our AAC besties!!! 🌈💕

Today is World Mental Health day and oh my goodness, what a privilege it is not only to work with so many kiddos to help empower them on their own mental health journeys, but also to work in a clinic that prioritizes the mental health of the adults in our space as well 💗 From happy and inspired employees, to parents who feel heard and supported, to walking beside the most incredible kiddos as they learn to navigate the many feelings that we experience throughout life - it’s our greatest honor 🧠

A few weeks ago we had some very special visitors from The Rusty Buckle Petting Zoo & Pony Parties 🐷🐔🐰🐐 Their mobile petting zoo was amazing and they were so accommodating & inclusive with all of our little besties! The kiddos had a blast playing with the animals, brushing them, and feeding them. The animals were gentle and loved all the attention! 💗

Their farm is located right up the road from our Chepachet clinic! We can’t wait to have them back again for more fun 🫶

It’s been such an exciting week here at EKT as the amazing Dr. Cole has started his OT career here with us! Cole began here with us last summer while completing one of his clinicals, and then worked with us this summer as a therapeutic camp counselor. He recently passed his boards and we couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to bring him onto our team full time 💗 He’s the best, and we are so blessed to have him.

Pictured next to him is our beautiful Ms Nicholle who started with us earlier this summer. We realized we never officially introduced her to the gram fam!! She went to school with Dr Ash years ago, and the universe brought her here to us and she’s been a blessing to our clinic 💗

We are so lucky to have the best staff in the entire world here at EKT. Thank you ALL for all that you do for our kiddos and families. Keep shining bright 🌈☀️💗
