In my previous post on Reiki, I briefly talked about how my Divine Team told me that Reiki is Divine Love. In this post, we're going to dive a bit deeper into that, starting with the quote from the Reiki Grand Master Usui Miako. 🙏🏽
For those that don't know, Reiki is channeled through the hands. The hands are under the dominion of the Heart Chakra, which sits around the center of your chest. The Heart Chakra is also known as the Love Chakra or the Healing Chakra. It plays a part in how you love others and also affects your ability to heal yourself.
The Heart Chakra is also known as the Center Chakra, because it sits in between our lower three masculine chakras and our higher three feminine chakras. The Heart Chakra is where the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine meet to create harmony. It works to regulate, heal, and energize all of the other Chakras as well.
If you've ever watched enough of "Once Upon a Time", which is a favorite show of ours, you'll hear them talking about how True Love is the strongest magick there is. True Love can break any curse. And I believe that. There's a reason why Regina/the Evil Queen is stealing people's hearts. 💁🏽 Maybe that's not what they were getting at, but this is something that my Divine Team has helped me realize while watching the show. I could fully dive into that show's spiritual aspects, but maybe in the future. It would have to be a short podcast series or something.
But anyway, in Reiki we do what's called the gassho meditation/position when we repeat the Reiki Ideals. I have come to truly cherish this meditation and connection with Reiki, because Reiki is nourishing my Heart center as it flows from my palms into the other palm, up my arms, through my heart center to be rejuvenated, back down the opposite arm and back out the opposite palm from which it was sent. It creates this beautiful intertwining energy of Reiki. As I repeat the Reiki Ideals, I can just feel my heart chakra opening up. Even just talking about it now is making my heart chakra open as it draws in Reiki.
