Please Don’t Label People with Disabilities

Today my heart is so full of joy and gratitude. My son, who has an intellectual disability, volunteered at the hospital where I work. He loves to work, and even though he doesn’t have all the social skills just yet, the staff and patients absolutely love him.

I want to encourage someone today: Don’t label people because of their disabilities. Give them a chance to grow, to shine, and to be a blessing. With love, support, and patience, they can do great things. My son is living proof of that. His journey hasn’t been easy, but look at him now—walking in purpose, filled with joy, and making a difference.

To every parent or caregiver out there: Don’t give up. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep encouraging. Their growth might look different, but it is still growth—and it is beautiful.🙏🏾💕🙏🏾
