Lets talk about weight loss sabotage...I think we have all been there! "Its OK to eat this because I'm having a bad day" or "I already messed up so I might as well keep eating (fill in the blank)".
What if we could catch ourselves here and instead think..."It’s better if I don't eat (fill in the blank- chips, ice cream, cookies, etc) because although my mind knows I’m having a bad day, my body doesn’t. Besides, if I overeat, I’ll feel bad and guilty, which will make me even more unhappy. If I stay on track with my eating, it’s highly likely my day will start to feel better, not worse."
This adjustment to our mental state allows us to make choices for our bodies rather than emotions!
