What is pediatric Physical Therapy?
Pediatric physical therapy is a specialized area of physical therapy that focuses on improving the motor skills, strength, balance, endurance, and coordination of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. Pediatric PTs and PTAs treat all the same things that regular physical therapists treat—only in a smaller, still-developing body.
So, what does a Pediatric PT and PTA do? They blend fun with function!
We at Lake Cumberland Pediatric Therapy feel so very blessed to be able to provide PT to the most wonderful children!
