New Beginnings 🍄‍🟫🍂

We’re excited to announce our affinity group the - a community team dedicated to the visions that young people deserve fun opportunities to learn with nature 🌍

From offering inspiring, interactive classes in schools to nature forages, we’re excited to build this initiative with our friend and we welcome other volunteers joining to help too

For this event, there is no charge, and we recommend people park on Beverley Street in Chestnut Hill or use public transit to join. Young people of all ages and their caretakers are welcome to swing by and invite friends 🌿🍁

PLEASE BE THERE AT OR BEFORE 2pm so no child is left behind :)

It’s not just a saying. It is our most sincerely held belief. No matter how much greed tries to divide us, the real power is in our hands and nature’s systems that have supported us for billions of years

One way to delegitimize the power of division is to reclaim it with a laugh, an afternoon of joy with others, and a commitment to improving what is right beyond our fingertips - knowing it starts to build a better world far beyond our own. It’s not the only way or even always the most important. Yet it sustains us for the journey

So join us to learn how mycelium made life on land possible, how it revolutionizes life and construction science, and poke a mushroom or two to see what falls out

Boston Style Swap 🍄🧢🥋

Congratulations to all the wonderful people who joined us to swap clothes and treasures - many pictured with their finds here 🤍

The world has already produced enough clothes for the next six generations, so thrifting is a positive way to find higher quality clothes thst will not wash up as plastic on beaches in Chile or Kenya ‼️

We'll be hosting more of these throughout the year and beyond. We are also adding more nature-themed educational tours, like a rat walk to educate about ways to protect wildlife 🐀🦉🦌

Bigger and Better 🍄🌿

A freak, torrential 20 minute rain storm last Thursday, followed by rainbow, meant our clothing swap was shorter than planned. We had clothes to dry (lol)

So we’re back again with live music, games, and snacks and of course- community
