Boston Style Swap 🍄🧢🥋

Congratulations to all the wonderful people who joined us to swap clothes and treasures - many pictured with their finds here 🤍

The world has already produced enough clothes for the next six generations, so thrifting is a positive way to find higher quality clothes thst will not wash up as plastic on beaches in Chile or Kenya ‼️

We'll be hosting more of these throughout the year and beyond. We are also adding more nature-themed educational tours, like a rat walk to educate about ways to protect wildlife 🐀🦉🦌

Bigger and Better 🍄🌿

A freak, torrential 20 minute rain storm last Thursday, followed by rainbow, meant our clothing swap was shorter than planned. We had clothes to dry (lol)

So we’re back again with live music, games, and snacks and of course- community

Upcoming Forage 🍄🌿

Join us for a fun afternoon of hiking, meditation, and - of course - learning about the ecosystem of fantastic fungi in our forests. With all the rain and humidity, the mushrooms finds are sure to impress and we will have our custom grow kits too

This is also the perfect event for our followers and volunteers near Salem, Danvers, Topsfield, Newburyport, Lawrence, and Ipswich. Come one, come all at any experience level and bring a friend along too

Knowledge meets nature 🍄🌿

Mushlove and appreciation to those who joined us for our Boston forage. It was beautiful sharing manifestations for the week while building a mycelium. It was also a testament to all the recent rain that we found all sorts of cool organisms in the woods (chocolate tube slime mold, scrambled egg slime mold, deadly gallerina, dryad's saddle, lobsters mushrooms, and hen of the woods among others)

Huge shoutout to friend of the org .with.cole for helping do an effective body scan to rebalance our minds. Cole helped us understand how being on our phones physiologically changes our response to the world and what breathing deeply in nature does in contrast 🙏

Let's make this the summer that we returned to our roots, cast off oppressive frameworks, and rebuilt our relationship with nature :)

Join us for an evening we'll all remember forever. From legendary folk and bluegrass to surprise musical performances to immersive art in nature, this social will bring mushroom lovers together from the Northampton area to celebrate healing, nature, and art in all its forms

New Forage Alert 🍄🌿

We are excited to welcome you to our premiere Boston forage. Learn critical ecology skills, the role of mushrooms in our world, identification skills, and how to better decouple our lives from technology with a special guest instructor

Please bring a sliding scale donation if you are able. We keep these events donation-based to everyone because of the generosity of those who give to support our organizing, our expertise, and our labor.

Amazing turnout for our forage at The Fells🍄‍🟫

After two months of rainy weekends we got loads of mushies and a beautiful sunny day to go forage with these folk. Such a wholesome event where people also brought their kids! So wonderful to see them as excited about the outdoors and mushrooms as we are.

If you missed this one, next forage is July 6th. Always family and dog friendly 🐕

We're so blessed and grateful to have such authentic people drop in to our forages. Together we found dozens of fungi, included dryad's saddle, witches' butter, turkey tail, false turkey tail, violet tooth, and the wisdom to know the difference
