DB Sn**ch keys to success:
🔹Rapid hinge countermovement - lots of new lifters will slowly dip the hips straight down. This risks hitting your knees with the bell, and compromises power. The countermovement is part of the rep! Hange back quickly to make space for the bell and deliver a more powerful extension. Rapid countermovement = rapid movement
🔹Triple extension - let your legs do the work and jump tall. There’s a big difference between partial and complete hip extension, so finish the pull tall!
🔹Arm technique - think of your arm as a rope the weight is hanging from (aka “soft elbow”). It should gently guide the weight when in flight then freeze when the weight is at the top of the flight. Advanced lifters can loosen their grip around the handle when in flight to avoid excessive wrist torque during the catch
