I was honored to be a part of this journalistic piece out of KVPR Fresno/Bakersfield. I am hopeful that more pregnant individuals and families in California will take advantage of this amazing benefit we have available to us! Everyone deserves a doula!

Doulas became a service that is covered under Medi-Cal in 2023. Now, families in rural areas are taking advantage.

I am a founding member of the Sierra Doula Collective here in Sonora. I'm asking the community for some help for a local, single mom who is experiencing very difficult times. This person has 3 small children, including a newborn, and could really benefit from a wrap-style baby carrier.
