As the weather gets cooler, it's good to find others ways of grounding in addition to being barefoot outside.👇🐾🌍
Petting your dog outside can be a form of grounding, providing mental, physical, and even potential benefits for both you and your pet.

By engaging your senses and connecting with the natural environment, you can reduce stress and anxiety while fostering a sense of calm and connection with your dog.

This practice aligns with the concept of earthing—making direct contact with the Earth to absorb free electrons, which can counteract inflammation and promote overall well-being.

How to "Ground" With Your Dog:
1. As the weather gets cooler and you might not be barefoot yourself, pet your dog, while their paws are on the earth's natural surfaces (Grass, Gravel, Dirt, etc)
2. Focus on Your Senses: Pay attention to the feel of your dog's fur, their rhythmic breathing, and the sounds and smells of the outdoors.
3. Make it a Routine: Incorporate grounding time into your daily routine to make it a regular practice for both of you.

Being a certified Reflexology Therapist, I specialize in working on the nerves for better nervous system regulation.

My FAVORITE foot tool is 's ball roller. I LOVE the pliable "triangulations" on the ball so it's not too hard but also gives added input to the nerves, muscles, tendons and fascia of the feet.

Here's a few tips if using for PLANTAR FASCITIS:

Using this ball may help with plantar fasciitis by increasing blood flow to the area, activating and releasing tight muscles and fascia, and providing pain relief through pressure.

The rolling action massages the foot, loosens knots and trigger points in the fascia tissue, and stimulates circulation, which helps with tissue regeneration and flexibility.

This self-massage technique offers a simple, temporary method to manage pain and tension in the foot's arch and heel, but it should be combined with other treatments for lasting relief.

👣How to Use a Roller Ball
1. Sit down: It is best to perform this exercise while seated to avoid putting too much pressure on the plantar fascia and potentially aggravating the injury.
2. Position the ball: Place the ball (a tennis ball, golf ball, or specialized foot roller) under your arch.
3. Roll slowly: Apply gentle downward pressure and slowly roll the ball back and forth under your foot, focusing on the arch and heel area.
4. Target tender spots: Pay attention to any particularly tender spots, or trigger points, and apply pressure there.
5. Do it regularly: Perform this exercise for a few minutes, one to two times a day, to help manage pain and improve foot health.

Being a certified reflexologist, I'm always thinking of the feet, and how amazing they are!

"Did you know you can absorb nutrients through your feet?

If we have all of these nerve endings and large pores that we detox through then it must work the other way, right?

Well, it does! We are able to absorb nutrients through the epidermis (the skin layer) of our feet.

Many foot soaks incorporate healing ingredients from nature...

nutrients such as magnesium...

These minerals can help aid in restful sleep, ease muscle tension and stiffness, reduce headaches, heal foot and skin infections, increase energy and stamina, reduce inflammation in all parts of the body, reduce cramping, ease depression and so much more!"

When the addition of specific whole plant herbs are added, even more support takes place, aiding our bodies natural ability to destress and regulate.

Make sure to add more oppurtunities for your body to experience peace and care, today.
