I love a quiet indoor space…

but outside?

nothing has to be perfect.

The wind might pick up.
A bird might interrupt.
The water might be louder than expected.

And instead of pulling you out of it…
it brings you deeper in—
and your breath finds you.

There’s something about being in nature
that makes it easier to just… arrive.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to slow down,
to land somewhere for a bit…

whether you’re holding stress,
moving through something tender,
or just needing a breath,

we’ll be out by the pond tomorrow morning.

A small, quiet space to sit, breathe, and just be.

This past weekend’s storm was a lot.

Not just the rain…
but lightning, and thunder—the kind that felt like it was rolling and lingering.
I could feel it thrumming for a while after.

I noticed my animals were feeling it too…

Did you feel it too?

This time of year has a way of reminding us…
we don’t control everything—
even when we might want to.

And honestly…
I notice how easy it is to try to push through anyway.

To make things work.
To keep going, even when it might not feel right.

But sometimes…

the most supportive thing
is allowing things to settle.

To wait.
To adjust.
To let go a little.

So we’ll try again this coming Saturday.

Same time. Same space.
Just arriving into it as it is.

If you’ve been feeling the need to slow down,
to land somewhere for a bit…

I’d love to have you join us.

I wanted to share a quick update as we head into tomorrow…

With the rain moving through and weather shifting, I’ll be keeping a close eye on conditions for our first gathering.

If it feels right and the timing allows, we’ll still meet in the morning.
If not, we’ll simply move with it and gather the following Saturday, and I’ll be updating this coming week as usual.

This is the rhythm I work with—
not forcing, but listening.

We’re going to keep this super low key.
Come comfortable, come as you are…
knowing you’ll be held and supported here.

There will be some gentle, optional movement,
and then we’ll naturally allow ourselves to arrive and unfold.

It’s a small, quiet space…
and a few spots have already been reserved, so you won’t be the only one showing up for the first time 💛

After a few quieter, more reflective days…

the sun came back out today.

And you can feel it.

In the air,
in the body,
in that little pull to step outside again.

This is the rhythm I work with.

Not forcing stillness…
and not forcing movement either.

But listening for when things begin to open.

As we move further into spring,
I’ll be holding small, by-reservation meditation gatherings at the pond.

A space to move a little,
be still,
and let the body settle in its own time.

There’s a quiet kind of wisdom I’ve been sitting with lately…

watching this mama goose, tucked into her nest.

Still.
Alert.
Present.

She doesn’t rush.
She doesn’t question if she’s doing it “right.”

She simply stays.

Protecting.
Warming.
Waiting.

There’s something about watching her that softens me…

a reminder that care doesn’t have to be loud to be strong.

That presence… is enough.

That tending—whether to life just beginning,
or life we’ve walked alongside for a long time…

…is sacred work.

I learn so much from the animals here.
They don’t overcomplicate what matters.

They just show up.
Again and again.

Lately, I’ve realized I haven’t shared much about this part of my work…

I’m not the only one holding space.

The pond—and the space around it—does too.

And while I work in different settings throughout the year,
this is something I’ve come to trust over time.

There’s a quiet draw to it…
one I’ve watched not just in others,
but in my own life as well.

The stillness of the water,
the movement of the breeze, the waterfall,
the birds, the shifting light…

all of it has a way of meeting you exactly where you are.

Many times, I see people’s breath slow and deepen…
their shoulders gently come away from their ears.

And I love this—

nature doesn’t rush.
It doesn’t have expectations..... doesn't that feel good?!!! I just took a deep breath here 🫁😮‍💨😌

It simply holds.

And when we allow ourselves to be in that…
our bodies and minds often begin to soften.

This is how I approach my work—
whether it’s yoga, massage, one-on-one sessions, or in a group.

Not separate from nature…
but in relationship with it.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to slow down,
to step outside,
to reconnect in a quieter way…

the pond and I will be here 🪷

03/24/2026

Yesterday, my body wanted to move.

Sunday, I did some strenuous movement—
the kind I don’t always do…
and I could feel it.

So yesterday, Monday, my yoga became something different.

Not a routine…
but a flow shaped by what my body was asking for,
which meant listening to her.

A little here,
a little there…
following where it wanted blood flow,
where it wanted challenge,
and then where it needed to stretch, open, and settle.

Today felt different again.

Less up and down.
More on the ground.
More twisting, easing… letting things unwind slowly and deeply.

Same body…
different need.

Both times, my muscles, my breath, my body thanked me—
that’s reassurance.

I found myself wondering…

Are we giving ourselves the grace our bodies deserve
if we expect them to show up the same way every day?

Same energy.
Same movement.
Same capacity.

Or are we being asked to listen more closely than that?
Can we?

This is how I practice.
And it’s how I guide.

Whether it’s yoga, massage, one-on-one work, or in a group…
I listen for what the body is asking for,
and meet it there.

Sometimes it’s not about doing more…

it’s about doing what’s actually needed that day.

This spring weather has been something else…

Warm sun one day,
snow still tucked under the trees the next.

You can feel everything starting to wake up—
and yet… not quite all the way there.

And I think we’re a lot like that too.

There can be this pull to jump in—
to do more, be out more, feel better faster.

And there’s nothing wrong with getting out in it…
feeling the sun, moving the body, being in nature.

But when we rush it—
sometimes the body hasn’t caught up yet.

Lately I’ve been reminded that
it’s not about choosing between movement or stillness.

It’s knowing when to move…
and when to pause.

Letting one support the other.

Often, they belong together.

So I’m opening the gates at Willow Green Pond.

Beginning Saturday, April 11
Saturday mornings at 8:45am

We’ll begin with gentle movement
to settle and reconnect with the body…
ease into stillness through guided meditation…
and then slowly come back with grounding movement again.

This isn’t about doing it “right.”
It’s about giving your system the space to find its own rhythm.

Held outdoors, by the pond
in Soulsbyville

or 4 for $50

There are days where I can feel something in me asking to be worked through.

Not fixed.
Not pushed away.
Just… moved with.

This past weekend and yesterday held a lot for me.

And I noticed something I’ve come to trust over the years—

Sometimes the way through isn’t just sitting still.

It’s movement.
Walking.
Being outside.
Letting the body go where it needs to go…
until it’s ready to be quiet.

That’s what I did yesterday.

I walked.
I paused.
I talked.
I moved again.
And eventually… I was ready to sit and let things settle.

There’s a rhythm to it.

Not forcing stillness.
Not distracting ourselves either.

Just listening… and responding.

Often, they belong together.

✨ Something new is gently unfolding at Willow Green Pond ✨

Over the past months I’ve been listening.

Listening to the women who come here…
to the conversations that happen after sessions and classes,
and to the quiet things many of us are carrying beneath the surface.

One thing keeps rising.

Many women are craving a place to simply slow down. A desire for moments where we can simply be.

Not another thing to achieve.
Not another place where we have to perform or get it “right.”

Just space.

So I’m opening the gates for something simple.

Small meditation circles by the pond.

Nothing fancy.
Just a quiet hour outdoors where we pause together…
breathing, listening, and letting the nervous system soften a little.

Some mornings may include
• gentle guided meditation
• quiet reflection
• stillness by the water
• warm tea

These circles will be small (up to 8 women) and by reservation so the space can remain peaceful and intentional.

More details will be shared as the season shifts.

For now, I’m simply opening the invitation.

As this season of Calm & Centered comes to a close (our final class is this Saturday), I’m taking a little creative pause before sharing what’s next.

With the warmer days arriving, Willow Green Pond will be opening for some spring offerings… and I’m looking forward to announcing those next week. 🌿
