New patient, came in on a Thursday with a chief complaint of neck pain after sleeping in a hospital bed, was admitted to the ICU one week ago, with a deadly rash, tons of swelling. Also determined via history that heat to her neck made the pain worse.

Findings upon exam: pitting edema in her ankles, very sensitive liver & bile duct reflex in the right thumb web. Performed gentle visceral manipulation to help open the bile duct, flush the liver. Gentle flush at the upper lymphatic centers. Thumb web reflex improved by the end of that day’s treatment.

That was on a Thursday, patient came back Saturday for follow up with a significant decrease in swelling. Check out her ankles. No other treatment, no medications taken between treatment. Only recommendations by me were to avoid heating the neck (ice, if anything), to drink water, and perform gentle massage over the areas I worked on.

So, here we go. I had a spontaneous decision today to start a blog. I’ve had a website that’s been collecting dust, and I’ve been spending so much time and money on learning some incredible things. I can’t wait to see it impact the lives of the people I get to share it with! If you know of anybody that this may resonate with, please feel encouraged to share.

Spent the weekend in Chicago learning Contact Reflex Analysis. Met a bunch of awesome people, heard some amazing stories, and learned a ton!!

Excited to be learning a technique called Contact Reflex Analysis. Its founder, Dr. Dick Versandaal, teaches that the heart is the queen bee. Everything serves as backup systems to the heart. Other organs, including the brain, will compromise itself to make sure the heart can beat another day. Will be learning about the energy pathways of the body, and how to support it using a wide range of techniques and products. Makes me think about what I read about Leonardo Da Vinci:

Leonardo Da Vinci was among the first to fully appreciate that the heart was the center of the blood system, not the liver. "All the veins and arteries arise from the heart" - he wrote on the page that includes the drawings comparing the branches and roots of a seed with the veins and arteries emanating from the heart. He became the first to analyze how the size of the branches with each split, tracing them down to tiny capillaries that were almost invisible. He pointed out that a plant's roots and branches emanate from a central seed, which is analogous to the heart.
