Can we normalize not gaslighting women into thinking every little symptom they experience after a certain age is perimenopause... and can we normalize actually listening to them when they say something is wrong? Can we normalize not gaslighting them into thinking they're OK when they are in fact not ok.

Conventional medicine will tell you you're OK only because you're not clinically sick enough for them to see what's going on and to help you. Then it's about bandaiding symptoms after you've gotten to a point where it's not more challenging to rein it in.

Are you tired of being told.... you're fine 🤷🏽‍♀️

Functional medicine will provide you with a expansive variety of labs with a tighter value range of optimal and functional values. This allows us to be able to see things before it gets to a state of clinical sickness. Allowing us to uncover the root. My goal is to then educate and empower you to learn prevention and to create or maintain optimal wellness as an individual and make your own choices and decisions

We're not looking at the symptoms we're looming at the SYSTEM. Because dis-ease are symptoms that were labeled with a name. Everything is connected just because something is going on in one location or doesn't mean that's where the root cause of the issue is steming from. Symptoms are telling us there's something wrong with the SYSTEM.

I see things as systemic meaning it affects the whole system. The whole system is you're entire being mind body and soul. It's near impossible for only one aspect of your being to be affected by anything. Your external world in fact is also a part of the system, family, work, YOUR PURPOSE, etc. are you happy? Fulfilled? We are like puzzles. It's truly about putting the pieces together and honoring all aspects of your being.

This genuinely hurts my soul to hear....so let's shift it. Let's stop ignoring and start integrating.

The journey to self-love isn’t any pursuit of perfection. Rather, it is a complex process that involves embracing your imperfections and accepting yourself. The world today may often demand flawlessness, but building self-love involves appreciating your uniqueness and accepting it.

When you embrace your imperfections, you’ll recognize that everyone is an individual who is beautifully flawed. But that doesn’t mean you can’t continue on your path of self-discovery and growth.

How can you find the beauty of your imperfections?
Finding true beauty not in perfection but in imperfection is an act of accepting yourself. Cultivating that perspective means reinforcing the fact that imperfections aren’t inadequacies, but rather authentic elements of being human.

Here are some positive ways to find beauty in imperfection:

💜Embrace your body positivity.
Body positivity is something you hear a lot about today. With filters on cameras and apps, everyone can look perfect if they want to. But why should they need to? You should celebrate your body for what you can do, instead of how it appears. Beauty should be thought of as a spectrum, rather than a set-in-stone ideal.

💜Foster your self-compassion.
The integral strategy to embracing your imperfections and moving toward self-love is the fostering of self-compassion. You should treat yourself with the same positive kindness you would offer to a friend. Listen when you speak about yourself and redirect your inner voice to be more nurturing. You will learn in this step of personal growth that you should not be defined by your mistakes but rather learn from them.

💜Use mindfulness in working toward self-acceptance.
Mindfulness practices should be integrated into your journey in the present. This will help you to recognize there is beauty in now, rather than being focused on pursuing what could be. Through this mindfulness, you will learn to even appreciate the imperfect moments in life – we all have them.

For much of your life, you may have tried to hide your flaws, fearing others’ judgment by wearing a fake mask of perfection. True connections, though, require a vulnerability.

Humans are by nature social creatures, all influenced by people around us. Ya'll I did a thing and I am crying...again. This has been an
amazing road for sure.

I am officially a Dr of Functional Medicine, PhD.

This is just the beginning of a bigger journey and practice. I'm still in school expanding and learning to offer more to my practice and support my clients the best i can.

I came to realize my purpose was bigger than I was telling myself and that I was fulfilling. I'm here to break the current health care paradigm and not just focus on the physical being but mind body and soul. Not covering up symptoms but addressing root causes and supporting you in creating feeling safe in the body.

Over the past six months following shoulder surgery, my recovery journey has been challenging but ultimately transformative. After spending five months under the care of a physical therapist, I made progress—but still faced significant limitations in strength, mobility, and daily function.

When I began working with Alexandra Marrero of Holistically Divine Wellness, I was struggling with basic movements. Push-ups caused extreme discomfort, my bench press had dropped to 135 lbs (from a personal best of 355 lbs), and my range of motion was limited—especially at end range, where weakness was most apparent. Even simple daily tasks like putting on a shirt or jacket, fastening my seatbelt, or reaching into a cupboard were difficult and uncomfortable.

In just four sessions with Alexandra, the progress has been nothing short of incredible.

Her approach focused on working the connective tissue surrounding the shoulder using a variety of highly effective techniques. This helped release restrictions and “unlock” areas that were clearly limiting my recovery. As the saying goes, “If you think you know where the pain is—it isn’t,” and Alexandra demonstrated that firsthand.

Equally impactful was the personalized “homework” she provided—targeted exercises to improve range of motion and static stretching to enhance mobility.

After only four weeks:
• I can now perform daily tasks pain-free, including putting on a jacket, fastening my seatbelt, and reaching overhead
• My strength has significantly improved—I’m now bench pressing 185 lbs for 8 reps
• I’ve progressed to assisted dips, overhead dumbbell presses, and movements that were previously extremely difficult
• My mobility and end-range strength have improved dramatically

The combination of hands-on therapy and guided exercise has accelerated my recovery beyond what I experienced in five months of traditional physical therapy.

I'm so excited to have Toni Rose Vitelle of Gypsy Rose Wellness and Ginny Harmon to come in and facilitate this beautiful event.

What is Tasseomancy? It is the ancient divination of reading tea leaves. The seeker drinks loose tea in a white our light colored cup until a small amount of liquid remains. Swirl 3 times clockwise, then turn the cup over onto the saucer. The reader will interpret the symbols etc. This practice invites a quiet mind of reflection and clarity.

This immersive workshop starts by Ginny guiding us to create a personalized herbal tea blend focused on self-love, nourishment, and gentle care, guided by your senses, heart and intuition. After crafting your unique blend to take home, enjoy a freshly brewed cup while indulging in delightful tea sandwiches and learning about the ancient tea lore with Toni Rose. As a holistic health and life coach I treat people as a whole, the mind body and soul. So instead of working on 1 or 2 pieces to your puzzle together we are putting ALL the pieces together. Creating a full mind body and soul transformation.

We are all unique individuals and there is no such thing as the perfect diet. How many times have you been on a “diet” and they only worked for a short time or not at all? Nobody likes “diets” they leave you feeling deprived and you land up falling off track. It’s about us finding the right foods for us as an individual. What are you able to digest that leaves you feeling energized and great instead of bloated and blah.

What is missing from your LIFE? What barriers and blocks are preventing you from having what you want in your life? What does YOUR heart truly desire?

I’m a believer that we are the creators of our lives but sometimes we get in our own way. Together we will find out what is blocking you or stopping you from your goals.
