Last week, I invited you to share your word (or two) for 2026.
The words were powerful:
calm, grounded, confident, aligned, free…
And that makes sense—
2026 is a Year 1 in numerology: new beginnings, fresh starts, clean slates.
But here’s what I want to name clearly—as an Emotional Mastery Coach:
✨ A word without an action plan doesn’t just fade…
It often turns into emotional frustration.
Because when April, July, or October arrives and we’re no longer living in alignment with the intention we set, something subtle happens internally.
We feel:
• more reactive
• more irritable
• more emotionally charged
And we think we’re upset with other people.
But underneath that reaction is usually this:
“I’m disappointed in myself.”
“I know better.”
“This isn’t who I wanted to be this year.”
This internal misalignment is one of the core drivers of emotional spirals.
Not a lack of willpower.
Not a lack of motivation.
But a lack of conscious structure to support the life you intended to live.
Your reality is shaped by your thoughts—but it’s stabilized through consistent, conscious action.
Without an action plan:
• the subconscious takes over
• old patterns reassert themselves
• and emotional reactivity becomes the signal that alignment has been lost
This is exactly where Emotional Mastery Coaching comes in.

My Story
I found myself as an adult very angry and reactive and it affected my personal and work relationships. I had alot of conflict in my life and was extremely judgmental of others. I also kept choosing the same man with a different face and name! When I reflect back, I see that I had created an island of 1-me. I distanced myself from everyone in my life...but why? So I wouldn’t be hurt. See I hurt others before they could hurt me. This was my defense mechanism that I created. Now in the world I looked like a strong and independent woman (and I was and am) but this was a socially acceptable defense mechanism. One day after yet another failed relationship, something clicked inside of me and I decided that NOTHING was more important than getting to the bottom of why I was so angry and why I kept making the same decisions that would give me the same result-and this result did NOT leave me feeling good about myself. So I sought out a teacher-the universe led me to her:) and I began a DEEP DIVE into myself. I called this work ‘no stone goes unturned’. It is those years of work with my teacher that allows me to give and serve the way I do today. And one of the foundations of this work was MEDITATION.
