You whisper the words every morning:
✨ “I am enough.”
But before the sentence even lands, a quiet voice fires back—
“No, you’re not.”
If you’ve ever felt this… you’re not alone.
And no, nothing is wrong with you.
Most women think resistance means they’re failing at affirmations.
But the truth is… your subconscious is protecting you.
Your mind isn’t rejecting your affirmation —
it’s rejecting the threat of becoming someone new.
💛 And THAT is the exact moment where your healing begins.
💭 Why Affirmations Can Feel Fake
When affirmations clash with old beliefs shaped by criticism, comparison, rejection, or impossible standards… your nervous system tightens.
Your body says,
“Wait. This doesn’t feel safe yet.”
This is why saying “I am confident” can create anxiety instead of empowerment.
Affirmations don’t fail because you’re broken.
They fail because you’re healing.
🌱 A Softer Way: Bridge Statements
Instead of forcing a statement that feels impossible, try gentle, believable reframes:
🌼 “I’m learning to trust myself more each day.”
🌼 “I’m open to the possibility that I’m enough.”
🌼 “It’s becoming easier to speak kindly to myself.”
These work because they honor BOTH parts of you—
the part ready to grow and the part still needing safety.
🧘♀️ Integrate It Into the Body
Confidence isn’t built in the mind — it’s built in the body.
Try this morning ritual (3 minutes):
• Sit tall, hand over heart
• Repeat your bridge affirmation slowly
• Let it vibrate through your chest
• Breathe between each repetition
• Notice the subtle shifts
At first it feels uncomfortable.
That’s normal.
You’re teaching your subconscious a new language.
Every repetition becomes a brushstroke painting a new identity rooted in calm, confidence, and worthiness.
One day, you’ll notice something magical…
You’ll catch yourself living the affirmation—
making decisions with ease, trusting yourself without effort.
That’s when you know: the affirmation has become a belief.

My Story
I found myself as an adult very angry and reactive and it affected my personal and work relationships. I had alot of conflict in my life and was extremely judgmental of others. I also kept choosing the same man with a different face and name! When I reflect back, I see that I had created an island of 1-me. I distanced myself from everyone in my life...but why? So I wouldn’t be hurt. See I hurt others before they could hurt me. This was my defense mechanism that I created. Now in the world I looked like a strong and independent woman (and I was and am) but this was a socially acceptable defense mechanism. One day after yet another failed relationship, something clicked inside of me and I decided that NOTHING was more important than getting to the bottom of why I was so angry and why I kept making the same decisions that would give me the same result-and this result did NOT leave me feeling good about myself. So I sought out a teacher-the universe led me to her:) and I began a DEEP DIVE into myself. I called this work ‘no stone goes unturned’. It is those years of work with my teacher that allows me to give and serve the way I do today. And one of the foundations of this work was MEDITATION. If any of this resonates with you or turns on a voice inside that says, ‘I cannot wait another minute to make the changes I need to feel happy and at peace with myself”, then reach out to me.
