1. Limit or stay away from alcohol.
2. Stay at a healthy weight.
4. Get active by exercising.
5. Limit hormone therapy such contraceptives.
6. If you smoke, quit.
7. More-frequent breast self-examination.
8. Periodic breast cancer screening tests.
9. Breastfeeding.
