Moving forward, I will no longer be accepting clients who are having surgery with Mia Aesthetics. If you are currently booked your stay will be honored.

Over time, I have encountered several operational issues that make it difficult for me to provide the level of care and recovery environment my clients deserve. These include medication protocols that leave clients discharged before their preferred pharmacies are open, as well as extremely early post-operative appointments scheduled between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM.

My recovery home is structured to prioritize rest, healing, and a calm environment for all clients. Extremely early post-operative appointments require clients to wake, prepare, and travel shortly after invasive procedures, often without adequate rest or time for a proper breakfast. It also disrupts other clients in the home who are recovering.

In my professional opinion, these scheduling practices are not conducive to the level of post-operative care and recovery time that clients need after surgery. Because I am committed to maintaining a compassionate and recovery-focused environment, I am not willing to compromise on these standards.

If a recovery home or post-op provider stopped responding after you expressed interest, it would quickly be labeled as “unprofessional” or even a “scam.” However, providers experience similar situations when potential clients state they are payment-ready but are still shopping around or not prepared to move forward.

Once you confirm you are payment ready, your requested date will be placed on a one-hour courtesy hold to allow time for contract review and payment completion. If both are not finalized within that hour, the hold will be released and your request canceled. At that point, I will not reconsider booking services.

This policy protects my calendar, my staff coordination, and most importantly, the clients who are genuinely ready to secure trusted, quality care.
