Eos Serenity Lodge — One Year
One year ago, we opened the door
With shaking hands and stubborn hope,
A house full of women
Who had survived things
They were never meant to carry alone.
Run by women.
For women.
Built not from perfection,
But from showing up anyway.
There were days the walls felt too thin,
Days the grief was louder than the laughter,
Days we looked at the fire and thought—
Maybe it would be easier to let it burn.
And some days, we almost did.
But then there were mornings—
Coffee brewing, sunlight on the floor,
A woman choosing honesty
When lying would’ve been easier.
There were breakthroughs whispered in hallways,
Tears that finally meant release,
Laughter so loud it startled the pain
Right out of the room.
We held hands through relapse and relapse fear,
Through rage, through shame, through miracles in progress.
We learned that healing is not quiet.
It is messy.
It is brave.
It is alive.
This house has seen breaking points
And becoming points.
It has held women who didn’t yet believe
They deserved peace—
Until one day, they did.
So today we stand—
A little tired, a lot proud,
Still standing after every storm
That tried to take us out.
One year old.
Still here.
Still choosing compassion over comfort,
Hope over ashes,
And love over letting go.
Eos Serenity Lodge—
You were never meant to be easy.
You were meant to matter.
And you do. 🌅
One year down, a lifetime to go!
