People say starting is the hardest part of exercise.

I think starting over is the hardest.

After you meet a benchmark, or you reach a goal, or you complete a plan…

It’s so common to drop off and then always want what you had in the past.

This creates fear about starting again.

“What if I fail?”
“What if I’ll never be as good as I was?”
“What if I’ll never be the weight that I had?”
“What if it feels harder than I thought it would?”

Having worked with hundreds of women on mindset, I’ll say this.

❤️What are the stakes if you never try?
❤️What if this time was even better?
❤️What if it’s ok you have a different experience?
❤️What would you do if you weren’t afraid?

There’s something special when women get in a room together.

When they say what they want, claim who they are, and share how they get there.

You may have been thinking this whole health thing is a solo gig. But it’s time to think about community, raising each other up, and supporting one another.

You can be on HRT.
You can choose GLP.
You can watch what you eat.
You can go to the gym.
You can hire a coach.
You can go to a therapist.
You can write out your dreams.

But the 90% of women who do this still don’t get what they desire.

Why?

Because they don’t have each other to lean on when they’re confused, scared, or worried about the future.

The 10% who know they are more powerful together than when they are separate…

Those are the ones who succeed.

Nnnnooope.

I was overweight, metabolically unhealthy, and headed down a familiar path I saw in my family.

Here’s the biggest secret to exercise: the first ten minutes is the hardest.

And I’m not even talking about the first ten minutes of the workout.

I’m talking about the first ten minutes you spend thinking about whether or not you’re actually going to do it.

Food is not the enemy.

If it were, you would have moved on by now.

The diet would have worked.
The rules would have worked.
The “starting over Monday” would have worked.

You’d feel confident leaving medication and dieiting behind once you’ve reached your goal.

But for most women, it doesn’t last.

Not because you’re doing it wrong—

but because something deeper is driving the pattern.

As a women’s mental health and weight release coach who has helped hundreds of women release weight without fad dieting or the mind-f-ery of body shame, I’ve learned what’s more important than meal plans and exercise regimens is confidence, self-love, and sustainable behavior change.

I choose to eat away from home when I feel restless at my desk, anxious about a task, or distracted by my home.

Going to a coffee shop and treating myself to a delicious cortado, slice of quiche, and a friendly hello increases feel-good chemicals in the brain that satisfy my body and my mind.

We spend so much time beating ourselves up for not cooking at home or eating the 100% right things, leading to restriction, mindlessly gong into the fridge or pantry, and bingeing later from trying to be good.

I work with women who fear they’ll never be able to escape their weight loss journeys.

They’ve been on this rollercoaster for so long, they don’t know any different.
