What a joy it has been to watch this artist spread her wings and fly! A writer for 20 (cough) years, she she started painting during the pandemic. It has taken over her life with a passion and push her creativity to new levels.
Anna Berlly opened her first show with us a few weeks ago, and this week sold her first painting.
We are so honored to know you “when”. Congratulations Anna!

Altadena artist, Jim McGlynn teaches how to carve a 5"x7" linocut block to create a black and white hand-pressed art print of your own design. Tracing allowed!
You bring the (5 x 7") image, all other materials are provided.

Anna Berlly opens her first solo show of her evocative oil and acrylic paintings of female faces and bodies, Saturday, November 15, 2025, 6:00-8:00pm. Her bold strokes and strong colors celebrate the human form.

Arc*Hive is the mini gallery nestled inside The Hive at 1118 Mission Street. It is built to share artists’ collections and to be a beginning step for artists emerging into community.

Hello! We are an arts & crafts studio in the heart of South Pasadena, CA, with a retail shop highlighting local women artisans.

Focusing on community and creativity, we do workshops and classes in art journaling, sewing, book binding, Soul Collage, watercolor, block printing, drawing, and more, plus we host birthday parties & private events. We even have a baby gallery spotlighting local artists.

Shout out to buying local if you can. You know a lot of folks are going through tough times and it's hitting closer to home than you might realize. Every little bit that goes back into the community helps us all.

Last night was a wonder-full, loving night full of art, connecting, tears, laughter, and healing. The Hive, South Pasadena is honored to open its mini gallery Arc*Hive doors for Amy Elise Robert’s and her hand -stitched gorgeous Catrina’s. Open for viewing & purchases until November 4. 2025.

The community Ofrenda started to grown, with photos, marigolds, fruit, pan, tequila, and sharing of stories. It will be up through Dia de Los Mu***os — feel free to stop by to contribute a photocopy or memento.
