§ 7-10TEMPORARY PARKING PROHIBITION FOR SNOWPLOWING AND REMOVAL.
[1975 Code § 7-3.7; Ord. No. 7-94]
a.
Whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the street or highway, an emergency shall exist and no vehicles shall be parked on the following streets or highways or portions thereof listed below for 48 hours after the snowfall; if a snow emergency has been declared by the Mayor, the Emergency Management Coordinator or the Superintendent of Public Works.
The parking prohibitions listed below shall remain in effect after the snow has ceased, until the streets have been plowed significantly, and to the extent that parking will not interfere with the normal flow of traffic.
b.
Any unoccupied vehicle parked or standing in violation of this section shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper regulation of traffic and any Police Officer may provide for the removal of such vehicle. The owner shall pay the reasonable costs of the removal and storage which may result from such removal before regaining possession of the vehicle.

Join us in congratulating two of our newest graduates of the first Basic EMT Course at the Ocean County Training Academy, Bryanna MacDonald and Leilany Castillo Cardozo! For the last several weeks, they have been dedicating hours of their weeks and weekends learning the necessary knowledge and skills to become EMTs and now prepare to take that knowledge and take the National Registry exam.

We are extremely proud of both of you and the tremendous effort you have put in to make it to graduating. As you prepare to take your exam to earn your EMT license, remember, your training does not end here, it is just beginning.

We are excited to announce a commemorative challenge coin with our agencies patriotic patch for Americas 250th birthday. This is just an interest form.
