🫶🏼 It's been a week and I'm still reflecting on our incredible ICF - Connecticut Chapter's inaugural conference and the depth of insight, inspiration and connection that filled the rooms. What we created felt like a true coaching community coming together to do what we intended: support one another and strengthen the future of the profession.

Amy Warshawsky, MCC led the way with improv innovation, creating the perfect pre-event energy to carry us through the evening and set the tone for the next day.

Ranieka Weston's opening keynote delivered inspiration and further heightened the energy with her "3 negotiations" message. Engaging workshops followed and kept conversations flowing: Celeste Robledo, MCC, Marisol Foumakoye and Sebastian Little owned the rooms in their morning workshops; Cindy Donaldson, Alexandra Phillips, (PCC) and Chris Curtin added to the volumes of practical insight, laughter, self-care and connection.

I’m deeply grateful to this extraordinary conference team and Board: Marta Koonz, PhD, PCC (she/her), Stephanie Tishler, CPC, PCC, Megan Lye - ACC, Jean Stetz-Puchalski, Sharon Jacobson, CPCC, Naomi Rafalowicz, Lynda Mettler, PCC, Evelyn Jenkinson, Lauren Krasnow, JD, PCC, Carolina Mata and shout-out to Kasey Cullen. Thanks to our generous sponsors: Mary Cravets, Co-Active Training Institute, Jeff St Laurent and ShiftPositive 360.

We especially appreciate the attendees who launched this party with us! Stay tuned for 2027!

Has this ever happened to you? Your life looks right, but something inside just feels wrong? That tension has a name. ↓

Cognitive dissonance.

It's the gap between who you are now and the life you built when you were someone slightly different.

Natja Böttcher captures this so clearly and shares with us three questions you can ask yourself right now if you're feeling this way:

1. What do you value now versus when you made these choices?
2. Where do you feel energized, and where do you feel drained?
3. What are you tolerating that's quietly costing you?

👆These aren't a quick fix, but they start to map the distance between the life you're living and the life that feels true.

Have you ever had this feeling, where everything looks right but something's still off? What helped you recognize it?
