I want to change the persona of what people think of when they hear 'Beauty Pageant' and the image of the women that are contestants in these as more than just an object of physical beauty. I want the world realize all the amazing things that have come into my life and helped me develop into the Woman I am today by simply being a part of the pageant community. I've made Strong, empowering connections and long term friendships. I've had tons of mentoring opportunities where I have the chance to be a positive role model to many girls of all ages in the pageant community and I hope that I've inspired them to be the best they can be and to know that if they dream it they can achieve it! I've learned so much about myself, I've gained a huge amount of self confidence, I've increased my communication skills and attained professional poise and presentation when speaking to others, allowed me the volunteering opportunities to reach out to those in the surrounding cities and it's given me the platform to speak on things that I am passionate about, such as nutrition, physical exercise, mental well being and prevention of cancer by bringing awareness to the benefits of being pro active in living a healthy and positive lifestyle. Thank you to everyone who has touched me along my journey and all those that I've touched, it has all made me the Woman I am today - I hope to pass that along!
