Dark II Light began as a vision for a place where people could gather, heal, and reconnect with themselves and each other. Because of you, it’s growing.

This spring we are launching a grassroots fundraiser to support the expansion of Dark II Light.

Behind the scenes: crafting natural incense 🌿
When I say I make my own incense, I mean it—blended from organic, aromatic plants only.
No fragrances, no oils… just pure herbs.
Each stick is hand-rolled with intention and left to rest for two weeks before it’s ready.
Years of study, practice, and devotion in every bundle.
Incense making is an art form.

Today, I'm celebrating the woman who brought me into this world - my mama, , aka Mama G! Born on the International Day of Women, she's the embodiment of the divine feminine: a creator, powerhouse, intuitive, tender, and tough all at once.

Growing up, our home was always filled with the smells of home-cooked meals, Juan Luis Guerra's playing in the background, a loud Latino household 😆. My friends would want to come to our house, and my mom would welcome them with a meal, and a full fridge.
I learned that femininity is not weakness, it is strength. She juggled running a small business with my dad, taking care of three kids (one with disability), and still managed to encourage us to follow our passions. She gave us permission to NOT be like everyone else, to never compare ourselves to others. That permission to be me gave me the confidence to pursue my dreams.
