WOW… just WOW!! Our 4th Annual Paws for the Cause was a HUGE success!! THANK YOU to all who helped set up, tear down, man stations, donated, participated and purchased auction items!!

YOU helped us raise over $6,500 to help support our fitness programs for individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological disorders! Our community showed up big today!! Thank you!! Thank you! Thank you!

Tripp Parks… thank you for providing fun music, and supporting our crazy event!! Making your acquaintance has been a blessing!!

Rusty Hooks Dockside hosted our auction and provided some of the most amazing munchies!! THANK YOU for allowing us to hang out on the BIG DECK and for the incredible food!! Sooo grateful for your support year after year!! Y’all are amazing and your team totally rocked it today!! 🙌🏼😘

Yesterday we were privileged to be a recipient of a BEMC Community Grant! Being recognized as an impactful organization and an important contributor to our community is quite an honor! The grant will go towards starting a strength training class for our Parkinson’s participants… we could not continue this mission without the assistance of incredible organizations like Brunswick Electric!!! THANK YOU!!

Nutrition for Parkinson’s Educational Conference

The Nutrition for Parkinson’s Educational Conference will be held on Monday, February 9th, at 11:30 AM. This engaging event features speaker LeeAnn Eagle, a Premier Fitness Studio trainer with an extensive background, including a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and PhDs in both Holistic Nutrition and Naturopathic Medicine (of which she is board certified).

The conference will explore the crucial role of nutrition in managing Parkinson's disease. Attendees can expect to learn about dietary recommendations and lifestyle changes that can positively impact health and well-being. With a focus on empowering individuals and their families, this conference is an invaluable resource for those seeking to understand the complex relationship between nutrition and Parkinson's.
