My wish is that everyone gets to die living!

"Most people tiptoe their way through life hoping to make it safely to death."
Earl Nightingale

Several days ago I was speaking with a friend of mine and the topic of "what is the meaning of life" came up.

I've spent a lot of waking hours alone, either sitting in the middle of, or working for, a critter. To some, this is one of the most profound places to connect with not only the earth but also whatever is higher than us.

I've chewed on the idea of the meaning of life many many times. My meaning has changed a few times but one of the meanings that I held for quite a long time is that life is about pursuing what makes you happy.

The pursuit of happiness! A movie or an idea? Whatever it is I believe it has inspired hope in many. To me though this is not the meaning of life.

Happiness is a choice, it's not something we get as a reward for toil. To me life is the pursuit of life. Choosing to be and find happiness, and then going after a life in a way that aligns us, with us.

Carl Jung developed the modern idea of our "Shadow." Which are the things we try to hide and disown within ourselves. Shadow work has a lot to do with removing the ego (death of the ego) so that the spirit might integrate, and become the highest version of itself.

What is spirit though? The best way I've heard it described is to imagine all the water in the ocean and then a cup of that water. All of the water is all of everything. The cup itself is our body. The cup and the water together form our soul, our unique character and personality. The water inside the cup is our spirit which even inside of the cup is still one with the ocean.

The Lakota teachings believe that anything with a shadow has a spirit... Now, that comes as an exert from a deeper idea and I'll leave you to decide your own meaning... But all life comes from the light!.. And it comes from the darkness.

Many many people go through life trying to fill their cup with things that are not them. We do jobs that we hate to support our families. We pour energy and intention into things that steal away from our happiness. Doing and owning just enough of ourselves to keep us living just enough to make it to death. Living to die.

When we start filling our cup up with ourselves again, that ocean water. When we start "Becoming" authentic to who we are, we find this alignment with self cleans the water again and we align with everyone. The displacement of what is not us, displaces the ideas that we should not be seen, that we can't all succeed.

This displacement is created by and replaced with... the idea we're all uniquely the same. For any of us to live we all get to (maybe even MUST) live.

I spent years living to die. After my body all but died from the way I wasn't living. I then chose to have the ability to allow who I wasn't to die so that I can now truly live. Only as myself can I truly serve.

Our biggest fear in life should not be the loss of things or even others. Our biggest fear in life should be the loss of ourselves.

If you've made it this far... I trust this has given you at least a little permission to own more of who you truly are and what you want so you may serve others by serving yourself. So that you might die living!

I have been really internalizing since about June and now feel compelled to share some.

The On Purpose Search of the Journey

Who you become on the way to what you want is by far more important than what you want. This has been reiterated over and over to me as of late from a few sources and in quite different ways. As we consider that, we may also wonder how far one should go.

I've found myself in an interesting position. I had set some goals about 4 years ago that have come to fruition... in different ways than I had intended. So goes the learning of life. The achievement of these goals had put me in some internal conflict for several months.

My family is in a spot where we could live quietly without a great deal of output. As enticing as that seems it falls short of what fuels my fire. That means, I desire a new goal. It's lofty but it's no longer a means to an end. It is more of a means to a purpose... a beginning.

My values have changed, yet my beliefs had not.

I value some of the beliefs that got me to where I am, even though they are in conflict with my new values. Framing has become key to this.

I've built several small businesses doing what I LOVED. Long ago, I realized the old saying, "do what you love, and you'll never work a day," is complete nonsense. What I have learned, is that the journey and the learning is what I love.

Instead of "living" and just "enjoying life," I have chosen to dig deeper and see what else I can find. Because one can dig deep! Depending upon where you are at in your life, you may find, that means you should.

I can now see that enjoyment of life, for me, comes from the on purpose search for my journey. Which is in contrast to the journey or search, for my purpose. One of my top values now has nothing to do with this life, but everything to do with living.

If this sparked thought for you, leave a comment. I would like to hear about it. Because what is taken from this may vary drastically from person to person.

πŸ“ Once trust is broken, can it truly be repaired? Or are we left questioning not just others, but ourselves too? Let's discuss. 🧩

Trust is a delicate bridge we build with others. When it shatters, are we doubting their intentions or our own judgment? πŸ’ It's not just about fixing a broken relationship, it's also about healing self-doubt and rediscovering our strength. πŸ’Ž

So here's my question to you: Is broken trust really about the other person, or is it a mirror reflecting our own uncertainties? πŸͺž We grow, we learn, we rebuild - not just with others, but within ourselves.πŸ’«

Comment your thoughts below! πŸ—£οΈ

Reflecting in the silence.

I'm not quiet because I lack words, it's the opposite. I'm busy learning, growing, collecting thoughts to express in ways words cannot do justice to yet.

We have more power in quiet growth than hurried noise. 🌱🀫

Hello all,

As we search for the path of success, there are bound to be obstacles and challenges that present themselves in different ways. Often, we find ourselves falling short or feeling like we've hit a wall that we simply can't overcome. However, have you ever stopped for a moment to reflect and ask the critical question... "What is holding me back from achieving success?"

Is it fear? Fear of failure? Fear of judgement? Or fear of success itself? Perhaps it's self-doubt, a gnawing feeling that we're not good enough or capable enough? Or is procrastination the unseen enemy, subtly compelling us to postpone our dreams in exchange for temporary comfort?

Maybe the ties that bind you are external, rooted in societal expectations, family obligations, or financial constraints?

Is the true problem our definition of 'success'? Are we chasing after an ideal that has been dictated by societal norms, rather than following our own unique dreams and aspirations?

Regardless of the form it takes, our barriers are often self-erected, built on foundations of belief and circumstance. The key to overcoming them lies within us, in our will to identify them, confront them, and deconstruct them, piece by piece.

What do you believe is holding you back from achieving the levels of success you aspire to? Let's create a safe space for open dialogue, self-reflection, and mutual growth. None of us are alone in this journey, and together, we can elevate one another to overcome the barriers that stand in our way.

Hard work!

That phrase may mean something different for everyone. It's a necessary idea.

What are you working hard on or towards?

80% of our lives is due to the programs we run. The internal workings of our thoughts and ideas.

If you have been working hard but you are not hitting your goals. That may mean there needs to be more focus within.

Have you ever wanted to change something in your life?

We all want to change something at some point. Is the question really more about why haven't you made the changes you want to make?

Some find the change isn't what they want but its someone else's wish. Or maybe change is scary or uncomfortable and you don't know how? Is your environment holding you back? Maybe you've failed to achieve it in the past? Or is it that you just don't have enough pain yet, the motivation isn't there?

Think about the images you hear and feel when you hear change. Change carries a lot of power. Really be honest with yourself. Who or what is holding you back?

Many times the comfort of knowing where we are overpowers the excitement of the new, the unknown. This is because the adrenaline that runs through your body when you're excited is identical to fear.

Everything changes everyday, every second something is changing. Adrenaline is going to run through your body no matter what. Its up to you to decide how your brain interprets the activation of the adrenal gland.

We all want to create our dream life!

Much of marketing deals with creating: wealth, health, family, environment... These are great thing to want to create.

The issue is creation requires energy. If we are currently creating what we don't want, that means our energy is tied up in areas that are not serving us.

Energy can not be created or destroyed. If all of our energy is tied up then we must release tied energy from the past.

The best way to do this is to release negative emotions from the nervous system. By releasing these emotions we get that energy back!πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ Once we have that energy back we can now use it for creation.

If the life we do want is different than what we have already created then we need to not only focus on what we want to create but also what we must release. What beliefs around life do you need to destroy to create the life you DO want?

Focus more on who you need to become to create, than what you want to create. πŸ’₯
