I spent years eating “clean.”
I tried AIP.
I cut out gluten, dairy, soy, sugar, joy…
And I was still exhausted, inflamed, and holding onto 100 lbs like my life depended on it.
And here’s the truth no one was telling me:
👉 It’s not just about what you’re eating.
👉 It’s about what your body can actually process.
👉 Its about healing the damaged caused by the inflammation
👉 It’s about why your body doesn’t feel safe enough to let go of the weight.
In my case?
My gut was wrecked.
My stress hormones were shot.
And my immune system was so dysregulated, my body thought keeping the weight was safer than healing.
I didn’t start losing weight until I started:
✔️ Testing (not guessing) with functional labs like the GI Map
✔️ Healing my root causes and the specific damage from the inflammation - not following a generic protocol
✔️ Treating my body like a partner, not a project
