☕️Good Monday Morning ☕️
Did you start with that morning cup of coffee or in my case tea to get your day started?
Are you truly measuring your creamer and other additions to your cup or are your eyeballing that? ⚖️
Those struggling with some regain may be doing yourselves a disservice by thinking you know the calories and fat content that’s going into that very first thing you’re putting in your body in the morning!
1 serving of my creamer is 30 ml or 30 grams by weight and it contains 40 calories, 3.5 g of fat, 1 g of carbs, and 1 g of protein.
As you can see my serving in my cup by weight is actually 3 servings. So in total that’s 120 calories, 10.5 g fat, 3 g carbs, and 3 g protein.
If you have 3 cups in a day you have now just drank 360 calories and 31.5 g of fat - pretty empty calories and not at all helpful on your fat loss journey. And if you are adding sugar or sugary syrups that number will increase.
That’s 2520 calories in a week😳
I hope this visual is a good reminder to help you be more aware of just one thing we think is small that can add up to big roadblocks on our journey.
