Sometimes we already know what to do, we just have trouble sticking with our plan.
I am here to help! Lets start with an easy, clean recipe!
I buy the Sam's Choice Chicken Apple sausage(like Aidells but cheaper)
Put skillet on the stove to medium heat. When heated add a tsp of avocado oil, coconut oil or olive oil(or spray lightly with an oil spray).
Slice an onion if you like onion and saute it in a medium hot pan, while you slice the sausages.
Add them to the skillet or onions and saute.
While that is cooking heat a 90 second rice packet(Uncle Ben's or Great Value, I recommend the brown rice or Jasmine)
You can serve the sausage on top of the rice, or beside it. Add some GHughes Sugar Free BBQ sauce if you want to add more flavor!
For some green veggies, just add a simple salad. Sometimes I buy the bagged salad at walmart and take out some of the simple carb items like croutons or chips. Or I make a simple salad using Spring Mix, Tomato, cucumber and salad dressing.
These are some easy choices you can make to create a clean meal for your self or your family! You don't have to cut out carbs to be healthy or spend a lot of money to eat well.
