A client recently asked about taking a liver supplement due to the concerns over vitamin A toxicity. Here’s a well worded reply from a respected dietician. Also, remember that’s food based supplements are generally absorbed more appropriately and should be taken in food-like doses. You probably couldn’t eat an entire beef liver every day, so don’t supplement that volume either.
