Our Fight Team had quite a roller coaster of emotions over the past couple of weeks with three fights and one victory. Decisions were made and lessons were learned. No matter what we cannot be more proud of these guys for going out there and giving it their whole heart.

How is everyone doing lately? Sorry we have been so static. Things have been hectic and Facebook actually took us down for a minute because we promoted a post stating "Happy World Ocean's Day" during the pandemic's high point to which we were taken down and told that we were promoting false information...

So in lieu of being back online and still trying to get our paid ads account back - we are still out here managing life each day!

One morning at dawn, during our recent Refuge Recovery Asheville Labor Day Weekend three-day silent meditation retreat, the sun stayed behind clouds, but we were greeted by a surprise rainbow instead. Refuge Recovery welcomes people with addictions of all kinds. The Refuge Recovery program is a free, non-theistic, peer-led, Buddhist-inspired method that does not ask anyone to believe in anything. We gather at meetings, social events, and retreats. We practice meditation, kindness, compassion, honesty, and forgiveness, as well as abstinence from all recreational drugs, alcohol, and process addiction bottom lines. We meet in-person every Sunday at 1:30pm at the North Asheville Community Center, at 37 East Larchmont Road, and at clean and sober social events. We are in the process of expanding the number of in-person meetings in Asheville.
