Pursuing Peace Mental Health Wellness Inc. – 2025 Year-End Update
It’s hard to believe we are already approaching the end of 2025! This year has been full of exciting opportunities and meaningful work here at Pursuing Peace Mental Health Wellness Inc.
We were thrilled to have Constance Brown join our team to complete her licensure hours. She has done excellent work, and we’re excited to see where her career takes her as she prepares to open her own practice. We also welcomed Clifton Littlepage as our intern in January. Clifton will graduate this December, and we are so grateful for his hard work, professionalism, and dedication to our clients throughout the year. His future in the mental health field looks very bright.
This year, with four team members seeing clients, we have been able to expand our impact significantly—providing over 6,000 sessions to date! As many of you know, our standard rate is based on the Medicaid reimbursement rate, which is approximately 30% lower than most practitioners in our area. In 2025 alone, nearly 30% of our sessions were offered at a reduced rate, and 10% were provided at no cost to clients.
It has been our privilege to serve the greater Springfield area and clients throughout the state of Missouri, thanks to the accessibility of telehealth. We are deeply grateful for the committed donors who have helped us maintain our mission of offering quality, affordable mental health care to all who need it.
As we look ahead, rising costs of living have increased the financial challenges of continuing this important work. To meet these needs, we are seeking new donors and partners and are planning a few fundraising events in the coming months.
We remain steadfast in our commitment to keeping our rates affordable and continuing to offer reduced and free sessions for those in need—but we can’t do it alone.
As we enter the fourth quarter, many people reflect on how they would like to give back before the year’s end. We humbly ask that you consider partnering with us—whether through a one-time donation or by becoming a monthly donor—as we continue to serve individuals and families impacted by the mental health crisis in our country.
Thank you for your continued support and for believing in our mission of pursuing peace and promoting mental wellness for all.
With gratitude,
The Pursuing Peace Mental Health Wellness Inc. Team
