Happy Friday everyone, a little update on my own journey so far taking supplements. So for starters, ima be honest, I have struggled with consistency and holding myself accountable. This is a hard journey for many many reasons, change and growth being one. However is some things I notice in my day to day: improving energy and recovery (huge for athletes), I’m getting tired more early which for me would be considered on time for everyone else. Also: one of the biggest things I’ve noticed with consistency taking these amazing supplements..improved appetite. I had a very suppressed appetite and always feeling full yet hungry, however when I’m consistent with these supps, I’m actually eating AND finishing all my meals which for an extreme ectomorph (very fast metabolism) is so helpful and makes me feel so much better because I’m actually feeding the machine. I wanted to share a little about the services I offer and what you can expect from working with me.
I’m a NASM-certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist. I graduated from the Fitness program at Wellspring School of Allied Health, where I received hands-on training from one of the most respected professionals in the industry.

I currently work with clients in Springfield, MO and some surrounding areas—but I also offer online coaching for those outside the area or looking for more flexibility.

A clip from last nights leg day(Max Effort day). Started off with SSB Box Squats worked 5 sets starting at 6 reps and worked up to a single with 235lbs. After this I did some Bulgarian Split Squats🤮 and then some RDLs. This is actually my second set with 235 as I wanted to re-do due to my knees slightly caving in and wanted more control overall. For a lot of people, all of that sounded way too complicated😂 and I don’t blame you. Honestly as a coach/trainer (hopefully some of yalls one day) I won’t be posting myself working out as a way to say: Hey look at me! Because to be completely honest this makes me very vulnerable and I almost don’t even want to. However my purpose in doing this is to show you: my own struggles, my passion, some wins, and how to do this stuff safely and effectively.

Happy Mentality Monday, warriors! 💪
It’s been about a month of consistently taking my Main Street Wellness Center supplements, and I (Jade) am finally starting to feel the shifts in my body—and I’m genuinely excited about it.

Here’s a photo of the breakfast I’ve been eating every single morning I can. And listen… I’m not gonna lie—I hated it at first 😅. Breakfast has always been a struggle for me. Most days I’d skip it, then crash later feeling foggy, irritable, and totally depleted. But lately I’ve been challenging myself to honor what my body actually needs, and starting the day with something nourishing has been a game-changer.

Here’s what I’ve been noticing since sticking to this shake and taking my supplements daily:

This weekend yielded some crazy storms that ended up leaving us powerless. (Literally! We have no electricity 🤦‍♀️) •
It’s crazy how something as simple as not having power can throw your WHOLE life into temporary chaos and how overwhelming that can be. It’s easy to feel defeated as your plans go awry, money you don’t have gets used, time you can’t spare gets spent and energy you can’t conjure gets squeezed from you. When speed bumps like these happen in life it just makes you wanna stop. Give up. Lay down. Scream “WHY” and cry for a little bit. Which is fine I think we screamed for a little bit too 😭, but we’ve learned thru life’s curveballs to keep swinging. We’ve learned that even in chaos, when you show up for yourself, your goals, and your future, that the noise starts to quiet. You start to remember how powerful you were created to be and how capable you are. If you find yourself in some chaos today know you’re not alone and we are there with you. Your Monday Mentality reminder today is simply this: Show up. Even if it’s 1%. Even if it’s an extra cup of water. Even if it’s a 5min walk. Even if it’s a minute of meditation. As a personal trainer this rings the bell 🔔. Not everyone has a high level of motivation all the time, especially in the early mornings or days you just feel off. But the truth about motivation is usually it just takes a motivation talk/speech or video, music, quote, podcast, caffeine, goal reminders, and anything else that peaks your mood to make a change. BUT motivation isn’t what drives the change in your life, it’s habit. Motivation can go up and down and can be changed by the little things, but our habits are continuous and consistent. It’s not always about getting motivated to live better and start exercising or eating healthier, it’s about making small changes in motion consistently. So yes motivation can have a part and can even make us want to change, but motivation alone will have us stopping halfway through or first day in. As a trainer I firmly believe in SMART Goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely). Whatever your goals are it’s important to start small and build the habits, start with the first dominos to create the chain movement instead of going for the middle or end. We wanted to share this post highlighting Inflammation in the body and Main Street wellness has some great methods of helping manage your inflammation!
It’s so important to see the signs and take action when your body is suffering. Inflammation is an important way for our body to tell us something is UP and needs attention.
Here is just a few ways we personally like to manage our inflammation issues:

Massage therapy 💆‍♀️- By improving circulation, reducing muscle tension, and promoting lymphatic drainage, massage can decrease the production of inflammatory chemicals and help the body clear out waste products associated with inflammation.

Diet 🍲- Adding in foods like leafy greens, berries, fish, or spices like Tumeric and ginger are just a few ways to help your body with inflammation.

Exercise 🏋️‍♀️- Getting movement in regularly can lower inflammation levels in the body by releasing anti-inflammatory proteins, and boosting the immune system!

Inflammation is extremely common nowadays and knowing how to fight it will help keep your body and mind at ease ❤️

Comparison is easy to fall prey to. It calls to our deepest insecurities and sheds light on our perception of who we believe we are. At its core comparison is a killer. A thief of joy and a bucket of water on the flames of progress. I fall prey to the comparison game and its sapped me of progress, mental health, joy and motivation many times. But you CAN claw free of it. This video is a perfect example of someone who could easily be stuck in comparison. But I’m choosing to celebrate my wins like hanging from the bar when only a month ago I couldn’t even hold half my weight on it. PROGRESS over PERFECTION. CONFIDENCE over COMPARISON. Every time ❤️👏

MVP Week 1:
MENTALITY- Mindset Reset
Romans 12:2
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think….”

Changing the way you think. Sounds so easy but is so so hard. Our minds seem to have minds of their own most days. Impossible to control. Impossible to understand. Especially when we are dealing with issues that have deep roots stretching into our lives in all directions. A statement like “change” can often be infuriating because… you’ve tried to change, right? Every one has tried to “change” in one way or another, some successful some not. I think trying to change something like your mindset is one of the most challenging things to do. Mostly because Mentality is a characteristic. A character trait we develop over time, trial, and often through training, meaning sometimes our mentality was trained into us. Maybe by circumstance, friends or family. Often the way we think is not even our actual pure character but the character of another we have adopted as our own and now we view the world through someone else’s eyes. What if your mindset could be reset by unplugging that power cord charged by someone else’s pain and plugging into a pure source of reality that is simply your own? Untainted by someone else’s fears, failures, traumas and circumstances. The roots of a mentality can go very deep so this is not really as easy as pushing a button however it is possible. We can heal our mentality. That default switch that gets set off when we are uncomfortable can be reset. It’s crazy but God can help you actually change the way you think. I didn’t think it was possible to be comfortable and confident in my plus size body. I didn’t think I would ever be comfortable with the flaws I perceived to be unattractive and unwanted. But God is a healer. Through time and consistency God and I have pruned many branches off the mentality tree, now fresh and pure branches are growing and the fruit is delicious lol. Everyday is not sunshine and lollipops of course, after all I’m still human. Not every morning I’m happy to see me, not every outfit I’m comfortable in, not every situation I face with confidence. But every obstacle gets a little easier each time I attempt it. This week is all about finding the roots. Digging into your mentality and finding out if your character is actually yours.
WEEKLY CHALLENGE:
The challenge this week is simply this:
Get a small notebook and pen. Whenever you start to feel a negative emotion about your circumstances or self write out the thought and the because. When I started this exercise years ago my notes looked like “I’m a bad sibling because I don’t call everyone everyday, I’m a bad wife because Im to lazy to loose weight or look pretty everyday, I’m selfish and lazy because I want to sit and watch TV and eat fast food”
Reading these statements they sound absurd lol, but your notes will probably look similar. These notes are just for you, you don’t have to share them so be unfiltered with yourself, really be honest and let your mindset speak for itself. It’s time to uncover these roots in our lives that are choking out joy, peace, love and everything God has for our lives. ❤️
