Located atop 250 acres of scenic, rolling hills in Springfield, Ohio, Springfield Masonic Community is a senior living community for those 55 and older. Our retirement community features spacious garden villas, luxury independent and assisted living apartments,

a memory support neighborhood, short-term rehab and a long-term care facility. Springfield Masonic Community is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). That means we offer a full spectrum of care from independent living and assisted living to memory support and skilled nursing care. Do you know a kid who likes superheroes or princesses? 👑 🦸

Bring them for a fun event where they can meet some of their favorite characters, enjoy snacks, food trucks, photos, face-painting, and plenty of activities! Costumes are encouraged for kids and adults!

We look forward to seeing you there to hang out with Spider-Man, Cinderella, Belle, Ghosty, Tiana, and Captain America! See and experience the family-like environment of Springfield Masonic Community.

Check out the events from we had last week at Springfield Masonic Community! 🩵

🇺🇸 For Memorial Day, one of our residents played the bagpipes by our clubhouse. Veteran residents came to watch the bagpipes and saluted the flag. We are eternally grateful for our veterans!
🍔 Our Memorial Day Cookout was attended by residents and staff. We enjoyed socializing with community members and friends while enjoying good food.
🎶 The Good Vibes Duo performed for our residents! We enjoyed attending the concert together and the live music.

He has seen the evolution of our Springfield campus in a unique way—he came to our campus (then known as the Ohio Masonic Home) in 1937 as a child and returned later in life as a senior living community member. 🏡

Did you know The Ohio Masonic Communities originated as a place for orphans, widows, and older adults to come in times of distress? 🤔

In 1897, the castle on our Springfield Masonic Community campus opened—with Nellie and Nora Shaffer being the first children admitted and Ralph E. Brown as the first adult. Adult residents helped with maintaining necessities of the community, such as farming, cooking, and sewing. Children helped with household chores and learned new skills like carpentry, music, and gardening.

We've come a long way since 1897! In 1996, we opened our doors to the public for senior living options in Springfield, with Browning Masonic Community and Western Reserve Masonic Community following in 1999 and 2001. 🩵

Did you know that we have a resource center for residents and community members? 🫶

The goal of The Ohio Masonic Communities Resource Center is to help connect Masons, Eastern Stars, their families, and the community, and find solutions for their financial, social and clinical needs. We provide a wide variety of resources and services, which contribute to sustaining the health, happiness, and independence of individuals and their families. Our focus is helping find resources our community needs in the best location, whether that be their home, one of our campuses, or elsewhere.

The Ohio Masonic Communities Resource Center can quickly:
- Answer questions about aging and wellness
- Assist in navigating today’s complicated healthcare landscape, including providing answers to general Medicare/Medicaid, insurance, and other questions
- Help obtain products or services to enhance independence
- Coordinate with local programs that provide meals or transportation
- Connect individuals with the best accommodation, including a nearby campus of The Ohio Masonic Communities
- Connect individuals to home health, hospice, or home-based medical services
- Provide connections and introductions to appropriate local agencies or caregiving resources
