Today was truly a joyful day filled with sunshine, friendship, and fun!

To start, we tried to beat the summer heat with:
☀️ A peaceful Sunlight Devotional
🌳 Gentle Outdoor Stretches
🌼 A little love for our plants as we Watered the Garden—
The blooms are starting to peek through, and beauty is on the way!

We also kept our minds sharp and our hearts happy with:
🧠 Word Games
🍓 Sweet and fizzy Strawberry Soda Floats
One on One 💅 Mani with Kayleigh
🎉 And we wrapped it up with some good old-fashioned Bingo & Sloppy Joe Supper!

Grateful for the laughter, the moments, and the memories we’re making together. 💛

Our Derby Night family night was a wonderful success, bringing together loved ones for a meaningful cause. We are proud to support the Alzheimer’s Association and grateful to all who attended and contributed to this important mission.

Activities at The Arbors At Lakewood

July 18, 2025

Today was full of fun experiences and memory-making with our wonderful friends!

We kicked off the morning with our Daily Report and Weather, sharing a few silly jokes and fun facts to get everyone smiling.

Afterward, we gathered for a refreshing devotion—a peaceful time that helped prepare our hearts and spirits for the day ahead.

Next, we enjoyed a “Finish the Phrase” questionnaire, which helped us connect through shared memories from childhood and beyond. It was a heartwarming way to learn more about each other.

We then played a lighthearted interactive game with a fortune twist, adding a little laughter to the morning.

At lunchtime, we were treated to a delicious meal of meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Thank you, Amanda—it was wonderful!

In the afternoon, we had fun with bubbles and painting, letting our creativity shine.

We closed the day with some one-on-one time, offering words of encouragement and connection to those who needed a little extra love.

What a wonderful week it’s been! We are truly blessed to have spent it with such beautiful souls.

Have a safe and peaceful weekend—we’ll see you Monday to start another joyful week!
