Spittin' Image is definitely one of our favorite entertainment choices for happy hour! Last Friday, we had a fantastic turnout, as residents filled the house to enjoy the duo's lively performance. We had an amazing time welcoming the Easter Bunny to Forest Glen for our annual egg hunt! The Bunny hid hundreds of colorful eggs for the kids to discover, and their excitement was contagious. Meet Carol! She’s officially earned the title of rock star after completing her wish. For as long as we can remember, Carol has talked about wanting a tattoo, and now that dream has come true! Thanks to Dustie, the awesome owner of Lucky Bunny Tattoo in Yellow Springs, Carol had the best experience for her very first tattoo. Together, they crafted a simple yet stunning design that Carol can’t wait to show off! She even said the pain was no big deal and felt totally fine throughout the process. Congratulations, Carol! We had an amazing time at our first themed dinner of 2025, Winter Ball! The dining rooms looked beautiful with cozy winter decorations, making everything feel so festive. Residents enjoyed a delicious meal of steak Diane, fingerling potatoes, and cranberry Brussels sprouts, all while being entertained by talented dancers from the 76th Dance Club. To top it all off, we had a fantastic dessert cart filled with all sorts of pies and the special of the evening, pecan bars. It was a wonderful evening filled with good food and great company!

Day two of theme week brought us the exciting “snowflake hunt”! This fun fact-finding adventure invites all residents to explore our beautiful campus while learning fun facts about snowflakes. Residents have until the end of this week to gather as many facts as they can to win a fantastic prize!

In the afternoon, we gathered to enjoy delicious pizza from the local favorite, Short Stop, while reminiscing over highlights from past Winter Olympics. It was a perfect way to warm up and celebrate the spirit of this theme week!
